My dog Willow had a dental cleaning and a broken tooth removed. She was laying on her left side for a long time while the right canine tooth was extracted. I guess the vet, Erica Loeffler didn't put anything soft under her head and so her head was laying on the hard surface and she ended up with tissue damage to the entire left side of her face! All the skin came off and it was raw tissue which was very painful for Willow. I called another vet who said they put something soft under the animal's head so that doesn't happen.
