I have been a customer of Chandler Gilbert Animal Hospital for over 10 years with five different dogs, so it goes without saying that I am an established customer and my dogs are established patients. However, I am disgusted with the response I received from this place when I, and more importantly my dog, needed them most. I called ahead on Saturday afternoon DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS to let them know I had an urgent situation requiring stitches. They basically told me not to bother coming in because they couldn't (wouldn't) help me. I explained to them that my dog is an established patient, but it didn't matter to them. They just kept telling me that they didn't have any openings because they were understaffed and to take my dog to the emergency vet. While I have nothing against the emergency vet, it isn't exactly close to me and the whole point of being an established patient at a neighborhood vet's office is to be able to rely on them in an emergency.
