Click to report rating    8/26/19   3     5     2     3   My cat was brought in for tests. Found out she had a uti. Took one hour for tests. Was told by Dr. they would give her first dose of medicine, then she would be ready to go home. Waited 45 minutes. Had to go to desk to find out what was going on. Tech brought my cat in and said they did not give her meds that I would have to do it at home. Do not understand why it took so long for them to tell me this. RID: 68494
Click to report rating    6/3/19   1     3     3     3   Have never been to this clinic but they employee a vet who treated my dog at another clinic. • Diana Brown Phillips (license #2148). • While working at another emergency clinic in South Carolina she treated our 3-pound chihuahua for seizures. She prescribed a dose of 30 mg of phenobarbital to be administered 4 times in a 24-hour period. Three of these doses were administered before the neurologist discovered the overdose. By this time Maggie was already in a coma. • I filed a complaint with the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. Diana Brown Phillips admitted that her actions constitute a “violation of S.C. Code Ann.40-69-110(A)(12) in that Respondent engaged in conduct determined by the Board to be incompetent or negligent in the practice of veterinary medicine as evident by Respondent ordering and administering improper doses of phenobarbital when treating a dog.” “she intended to load Maggie with only 4 mg/kg for four doses.” RID: 68083
