Very disappointed with service. Used to be awesome, not sure what changed...staffing? Feel like an inconvenience, rather than a customer. And when you really need something, they don't step up to support you and treat you as a valued customer. Shame. It costs a lot of money to care for a pet, you'd think a valued customer would be appreciated and take the time to support.

We have brought our dog here for 4 years. First intro visit, and the attending vet gave our dog a rabies vaccine, which was NOT required as we brought the proof of vaccination from SPCA to that first visit. Fast forward 4 years, and a dog that we were dogsitting had SEVERE symptoms that required immediate attention, Chidiac would not make time to see us,even tho we were established customers. They advised we could go to the Barrie emerg vet clinic, an hour away. Here it was 3pm in the afternoon, and they could not squeeze in a puppy that was unable to sit nor stand, eyes were rolling in the back of her head, no control over her body, and was extremely startled when approached and/or petted. Vet has NO compassion, and has demonstrated it's more important to get home on time than it is to attend an animal in significant stress. Fired!

This clinic wants fury Kleenex boxes and fluff balls. They will not help large dogs or working dogs even if its an emergency. A place for city-its with their city dogs not for locals.
