I dropped my dog off here on a Tuesday due to back pain but she was also having early symptoms of an ear infections. The back pain was the more extreme issue so that was the focus main of the visit but I had told reception about the ear issue as well, knowing it could turn into something worse if not addressed quickly. I took her home after paying a huge bill and the vet hadn’t mentioned her ear so I thought it was okay. A few days later and my dog has a severe ear infection which was causing her major pain. I returned to the clinic today to get it sorted out and they had nothing but excuses and charged me another huge bill. I was told that because they are emergency only, they can only address one issue at a time. That’s maybe understandable, but that would have been great to know on Tuesday instead of allowing me to think otherwise and letting the problem get worse. Please avoid the VCA massive corporation and choose support your local vet clinics where the staff actually care!
