I too felt that Dr. Shebuski was slow to refer our pet when she had a skin problem that we don't feel he knew a whole lot about, would not recommend a vet that has an ego to big to say when a pet needs a specialist.

The clinic itself is a fine establishment. The staff of vet tech are very friendly and well trained. However, when I brought my 9 week old puppy in with a serious eye problem they preformed an opperation in an attempt to fix his eye. After the operation they informed me my puppy's eye had no sight, was soft and would need to be removed. Before agreeing to the operation to remove his eye I followed my gut and consulted a specialist who informed me my puppy did infact have sight, told me the eye injury is a common injury to my particular breed of dog and have infact saved his eye. Today, my now 4 month old puppy is as good as new - no thanks to the Edina Pet Hospital - particularly Dr. Shebuski.
