Click to report rating    5/1/22   4     4     1     3   Part 2-A half hour later a tech brought her. . Why woukdn't they give our obviously frightened pet to us when we asked? If there was not going to be the final doctor visit why did we have to wait a half hour? The worst part is about to be described. A friend of my wifes who is an MD (not a vet) said there are medicines to induce cats to eat. When she called they said we will ask the vet and call you back-which did not occur. The next day we again called and a different doctor refused to write the Rx. We asked they call the doctor who treated our cat and they said she is not here and they do not know her cell number WHICH IS ABSURD. We called our vet upon their recommendation (they don't do emergencies and had no appointments) who acessed her records as they are owned by the same group, and wrote the Rx. We are in day three and in the first two days she has eaten more each day than in the previous four combined. If our vet did not step in our cat would be dead. O RID: 70320
Click to report rating    5/1/22   4     4     1     2   We brought our cat to their emergency room. She had hardly eaten for 3 days and was having difficulty breathing. They did a work up which we were asked to approve that included exam, bloodwork, xrays and other functions. We asked that they do the one test most likely to reveal as much info as possible and then we would decide if the others were necessary. Our beloved pet is far into her second decade. The blood test revealed two major problems. They recommended either overnight stay with subsequent pricey treatments or euthenasia. Medically we had no problem with their care. Aside from that we had major problems. The elasped time from when they took the cat for evaluation and bloodwork until the time we left was approx 2 1/2 hours. There were huge gaps while they spun the blood and also when they left us to decide on treatment that occurred. Each time we asked for our cat. Zero times did they bring her. Even at the end they said the doctor will be back in a moment with your cat. A half RID: 70319
