I was a client of this veterinary clinic for almost ten years, but the front desk staff’s unprofessional behavior forced me to leave. When my husband was in a car accident and I called to ask if there was any way to accommodate my diabetic cat, the woman at the counter was hostile and dismissive. She told me I “needed better time-management skills” and implied I didn’t care about my pet. This was during an emergency, and we live an hour away.
Their no-appointment system already makes it nearly impossible for anyone outside Coos Bay to get timely care, yet instead of offering compassion, the staff blamed me for circumstances outside my control. Shortly afterward, they sent a letter refusing to see my pets at all, cutting off access to the medication my diabetic cat needs.
The veterinarians are kind, but the front desk staff are rude and unprofessional. Their conduct put my pet’s health at risk and ended a decade-long relationship.
