I could not be more disappointed in this oncologist. I came to her with my dog, who had had a malignant tumor removed in Kansas City, for the specific purpose of closely monitoring him for potential metastasis. I could not have been more proactive about his care. Within two months of seeing Dr. Kelly, he began to show signs similar to signs (limping, panting)he exhibited before his tumor was removed. Despite all evidence to the contrary, this "oncologist" insisted he did not have cancer. Instead she prescribed many,many sessions of laser therapy, which is contraindicated with suspicion of cancer. To this day I do not understand why she was in such denial, despite cutting edge blood tests that showed cancer circulating in his body. We visited this vet 26 times in 9 months. Finally, still not convinced it was cancer, she referred us to CSU, where an MRI showed cancer had spread all over his body. He died there, in great pain, away from home.
