Click to report rating    4/26/08   3     2     1     1   I have used both Animal 911 and the clinic associated with their office. When illness forced me to cancel an appointment, they charged the full $88 for the exam (rather than the standard cancellation fee) and told me I would need a like deposit of $88 to reschedule after years of being early and paying my bills immediately. Up to now I can't count the hours I have wasted in their waiting room when I was early for an appointment. Because it is an emergency clinic, be prepared to be shoved to the back of the line every time a freaking-out pet owner rushes their pet in with a hangnail and demands to be seen first (this is not an exaggeration; Animal 911 has frequently taken non-emergency walk-ins over my scheduled appointments). I would only recommend using Animal 911 if you have an emergency and no other choice; just be prepared to wait for hours to receive sub-standard care and frequently the vet sends a tech to talk to you. Click to report rating    4/14/08   5     5     3     5   I took my rabbit in when he was 8/9 weeks old, due to seizures. I had to wait for about an hour before they admitted him (there were more serious emergencies at the moment, which I understand), and then they told me they'd be observing him for about 6 hours. When I came back, they gave me a lot of information on more natural diets, etc. It cost me $180. I was told before leaving earlier how much it would cost, and that they only accepted cash. I walked to the Jewel and got money from the atm. I really do appreciate this place so much. If it weren't for them, my rabbit probably would have died. The wait can be longer for less urgent emergencies and there's not much to read or do in the waiting room. Also, my friend told me that they do not treat reptiles. Since I don't have reptiles, that's not a problem for me. RID: 8063
