I have used Crossroads Animal Hospital for many years. I've used Dr. Watson for both my dog and my cat. My dog had surgery and the staff was very attentive and gave me specific take home directions and meds. They called the evening we arrived home and several times over the next couple days to check on him. One time after my dog had an allergic reaction, Dr. Watson allowed me to board him at the vet for 2 nights when we had to go out of town. Both vets I've seen have been very thorough, attentive, and honest. I would trust them with any of my animals!

My dog died from lack of post-surgical care after a major operation to remove 10 inches of his intestine at Crossroads Animal Hosp, Newnan, GA. My dog survived the surgery, and I am sure he would have not died had he had the correct post-surgical care that he deserved. Instead, Dr. Michael P. Wilson sent Ricky home less than 24 hours after removing 10 inches of his intestine. Less than six hours later, Ricky was dead.
Dr. Wilson gave me no written instructions on Ricky’s care and no way to contact him in case of emergency. He also did not refer me to a nearby emergency clinic that would have cared for him properly over the weekend.
It is my profound feeling that Ricky would have survived if he had been cared for properly by the vet and the animal hospital after his surgery. Despite my voiced concerns that day, Dr. Wilson sent Ricky home with me. He was in a hurry to close the office for the Labor Day weekend holiday. The GA State Veterinary Board is investigating.

I was very unhappy with how I was treated at this veternarian. We recently moved to the Newnan area. I had adopted a long haired cat a local shelter. When I took her to Crossroads I was informed the cat I'd adopted was pregnant. Only after they'd put said cat under anethesia did they discover that not only was she not pregnant, but had been fixed. When I came to pick-up my cat to find out what had happened, nobody wanted to talk to me, until I got very angry and demanded to see a vet. I will never go back to Crossroads. AND, I do wish vets would have seperate areas for dogs and cats in their waiting rooms. I do not dislike dogs, but cats really hate to travel and are traumatized enough just by being at the vets. Having somebody's giant dog sniff at my cat in her carrier may be fun a dog, but pretty much freaks cats out even further.
