STAY AWAY! Our cat was dying, partially blind upon her arrival. We were told she could survive so we started pouring in the money. We didn't find out until after she had died that she never had a chance. The doctor told us the price (thousands), which we paid. At the time of payment I repeatedly asked if this was my final payment and if we owed anything else-they assured me that my billing was finalized. Then after she was cremated and we went to get the remains they had mysteriously added $1,000.00 dollars more. HEARTBREAKING and unbelievable.

Terrible...cha-ching cha-ching cha-ching . I have never gotten such unpersonal care in my life for so much money. Not even a call back on tests. Go here if you want to chase down a Vet whos either in an appointment, out on a very long lunch, who doesnt call you back. No wonder the reception staff has a huge turnover. I'm sure they are tired of the constant call backs. Of course who wouldnt call back with attitude. Your pet's life is important isnt it? Be afraid. Be very afraid.

This place is shameful! We brought our cat in on an emergency basis. First thing that you should know is that is a training facility. The first "doctor" that we met with had graduated from school two weeks before. Although there are more senior vets around during the daytime, THEY ARE UNSUPERVISED AT NIGHT!!! I called on evening to check on our cat, and the doctor who answered the phone was very confused. She told me that she was alone, had only been there a couple of weeks, but that "we all have to learn sometime". It gets worse. After surgery we were called and told that our cat was dead. Two hours later they called back and said that they had made a mistake, and the cat was still alive. Things continued to get worse and worse, and we finally had our cat transferred to another hospital, where eventuality he died. At California Animal Hospital there were numerous errors, problems with communication, etc. We met the Medical Director some time later, and he was condescending, rude and a

Total Ripoff....terrible service and was given a sales pitch instead of understanding. This place played on my love for my cat and used that to encourage overpriced spending. $1800 for a routine and common procedure in comparison to $1200 at other places. Unfortunately my cat was in an emergency situation and I had nowhere else to go. I WILL NEVER MAKE THE MISTAKE OF GOING HERE AGAIN.

Dr. Chambers at this hospital is the most amazing vet I have ever encountered. I have tried about 8 different vets all around Los Angeles, and I have never met another Dr. who is as dedicated, compassionate, and committed to helping animals. I had a recent experience there in which the Dr. had to help my chihuahua. She was like my daughter. Very precious and fragile. I had previously taken her to mulitple vets trying to find out what was wrong with her. Nobody could figure it out, and it was through Dr. Chambers that she was finally diagnosed with a rare disease that was uncurable. Many other vets just kept treating her and not diagnosing the real problem. He helped me to make the best decision for my suffering dog. It was a rough ordeal, but the Dr. was there to offer up sincere and compassionate advice. I will always recommend him to everyone, and my future pets are yet to meet this amazing man.
