This is the best vet I've ever had and I've lived in 6 states and had several pets over the last 30 years. We initially lived close to the clinic but bought a house an hour away. We couldn't find a clinic that was even close to being as good as this one so we travel up there for all exams, illnesses and also for the kennel. They are the only place that can cut my neurotic Dog's claws correctly and sufficiently short. I highly recommend Perkiomen Animal Hospital.

We have been going here for years. The staff is very caring and knowledgeable. I wouldnt trust my dog and three cats to anyone else.

Very caring.The doctors I've dealt with have really taken the time to answer all my questions and don't talk down to you or try to rush you out the door.My dog became very very ill a while back due to another vet's lies and incompetence and after trying 3 other places and spending THOUSANDS of dollars,someone recommended this place to me. I am so very glad I went here! They helped to save my dog's life! After all my bad experiences with other veterinary hospitals, I tried doing my own research as to what might help my poor baby get well and they were willing to work with me.Long story short, my dog is almost back to her old self. Thank you Perkiomen Animal Hospital!

This vet & staff missed a lot of problems one of our foster cats had with her ears and teeth. They supposedly cleaned her ears and teeth during a clinic when a number of rescued cats were brought in. We took in two fosters and thought everything was ok. After only 2 days in our home, she started bleeding from her mouth and shaking her head violently, scratching at her ears. We rushed her to our regular vet who found stage 4 dental disease, a ruptured ear drum in one ear and a massive polyp and infection in the other. She had to have 8 teeth extracted and went through extensive surgery to repair her damaged ear drums. So much for clinic care.

They are fantastic. Their staff is friendly, caring, and they all go above and beyond the call of duty to make their clients feel comfortable. They are always willing to accomodate.

I may be biased because i used to work for Perkiomen but honestly the care and knowledge they have is top notch. I actually left another animal hospital to drive 52 miles a day to work there. Most of their doctors came from U Penn and not only are they knowledgeable they truly care about the animals. They have boarding kennels too which were just renovated ot add more space and can accomodate just about any medical need a boarder has. PAH is a wonderful place and will bend over backwards for its clients in any event. I do not work there anymore but I still make the 45 minute drive to see them when any of my animals need anything from a checkup to an emergency visit and they always have time for me. I highly reccommend.

Prices tend to be about average for what I've seen at different vets, but every time I've needed to get my dog in that day for a problem they have been able to accomodate me. Additionally they take the time to address any and all questions I have. One of my dogs is very shy around people, but especially males. They make it a point to give her female vets if at all possible to help alleviate some of her nervousness. Their facilities are clean, bright, and spacious, and they are always willing to go that extra step to help out. Believe me, I am VERY particular when it comes to the health of my animals.
