Awful. After two hours of trying to negotiate costs and determine the realistic need for recommended treatments, I discovered one was a vaccine my pet just had 3 weeks ago. I was told my "records" were not official and that is why they repeated it. Took my pet into another room for 'routine' shots, I was not comfortable with that. I felt like I was at a bad car dealership. I walked away with a headache and a bill that was more than our family spends on groceries. The office staff was very pleasant but I still felt like my concern's weren't addressed until after payment... which of course was after it was too late.

Overpriced on a lot of basic stuff and they make it worse by pushing vaccines and treatments and tests that may not be necessary. The owner has a relationship w/ a local breeder whose animals are not healthy and they had to go to court at least once because of this. The practice is small and set up in an old house but seems clean and smells OK. The girls are great and seem to really care about what they do. I had to wait almost everytime I had a scheduled appt -- they could do much better from a punctuality standpoint. I think that there are good or better vets close by who are not as expensive and more trustworthy.

This vet certified a kitten that I ad purchased from Plantation Delight Breeders as fit to travel. She was quite underweight, but the vet said she was fine. the breeder put her on a plane, even though she had diarrhea, and she died 4 nights later. Horrible experience. Vet was negligent not to pick up signs-runny eyes, runny nose, lethargy. BAD VET!! Don't take your animals to her if you care about them!

BEWARE OF THIS VET. I would never recommend this veterinarian. Dr. Tonya Nowell did the wrong surgery on my dog and then tried to charge me for it! After this happened I began talking to other people in the area and heard similiar stories about numerous mistakes and overcharging people.
