Click to report rating    10/15/09   1     3     3     3   My dog had had celluous matter removed from his foot on Tuesday. The end of the bandage was left open and although my husband stayed up most of the night with him it only took a minute for him to snag the stitches out. Went back on Tuesday we agreed bandaging the foot was the most logical. I voiced my concerns about the anestheshia used the day before and flay out said I never wanted him to be put under without written consent. Dr. Gibson took him in the back to bandage his foot. I waited 45 minutes later I inquired as to where my dog was and the vet tech said he was coming out of anesthesia!!! And after what I just had said the dog was put under twice in less than 18 hours. Dr. Gibson said he guessed he should have asked me, I was right there in the waiting room!! He told me to keep the bandage on as long as possible up to 2 weeks. 4 days later it stank and I took it off. Almost gangrene and it had not gotten wet thi is a house dog. Think what you want I know!! RID: 14752
Click to report rating    4/27/08   3     4     5     1   My cat was brought in for vomitting. I picked him up later that day and he smelled like a very strong pesticide. A few days later I took my cat in for a follow up visit. I voiced my concern of my cats condition and without even putting my cat on the examining table, to possibly see if it might be an inner ear infection, Doc Gibson told me,"Oh, that looks like brain damage but I won't know until I run some further tests". Even though a good portion of the bill had already been paid Doc Gibson told me without another payment he couldn't keep treating my cat. I found out later that same day that all small animals brought in are totally submerged in a very strong pesticide used on cattle. It's been over a week now since my cat was brought into his clinic and he still has no control of his motor skills and 1 of his inner eyelids is 3-quarters of the way closed. I'm so sick to my stomach that this is going to become permanent! CAN ANYBODY HELP MY CAT, PLEASE?! RID: 8287
