Click to report rating    9/24/08   5     5     4     5   Wow! I finally found a clinic that listened to me! I felt my dog was not acting right and called my old vet and was not offered an appointment noetheless any advice to help. I called The Animal Medical Center at 4:45 pm and the staff and the vet himself stayed late to see my dog. I have never been there before and they treated me as if I had beed a client for years. I am going to be a client for life! RID: 10086
Click to report rating    9/18/08   2     1     2     1   Mean spirited doctor misdiagnosed my cat. As for living upstairs, why was the cat coved in urine when I visited in the morning. Do your self a favor, go elsewhere! RID: 10038
Click to report rating    8/16/08   2     2     2     2   I think that 2 of these posts have been posted by the Clinic themselves. I have to admit that when this Vet Clinic had a Vet named Ryan (which they called Dr. Ryan), he had misdiagnosed my pet. RID: 9685
Click to report rating    7/17/08   5     4     4     4   I have been using this office for a number of years and have always found them professional, caring and helpful. When Dr. Sampson joined the staff just over a year ago she did nothing but raise the standards to an even higher level. While I am not familiar with the above reviewer's case, I can only imagine that there was some sort of misunderstanding as in the years that I have been going to the clinic I have never had a negative experience and in fact have had the lives of more than one pet saved by Dr. Sampson and the professionals at the Animal Medical Center. Click to report rating    4/28/08   1     3     3     1   Animal Medical Center in Traverse City Michigan, seems to like to diagnosis Cats with "Cushings". I know of 3 Cats that have been diagnosed with Cushings from Animal Medical Center... one being my own Cat. As far as I know, the other cat owners haven't gotten a second opinion on the diagnosis. I was given 2 options, 1. to do nothing 2. take my cat to Michigan State University Veterinary Hospital. I chose to take my Cat to MSU Veterinary Hospital, and I'm glad I did. When the MSU Vet asked Catherine (Katie) Sampson DVM why and how she diagnosed my cat with Cushings.. she said she never diagnosed the cat with Cushings..-- then why was the admitting diagnosis at MSU "Cushings", and why did she give me the option to go to MSU Veterinarian Hospital in the first place? geesh! Now on to another story about my other Cat,- he hates going to this Vet-- he got his teeth cleaned, and some how his eye was hurt. His third eyelid stayed 3/4 down for approx. 6 weeks after his teeth cleaning. RID: 8303
