My parrots and I saw Kersting for five years until I moved to CO. The ONLY thing I miss about STL is Kersting and his superb avian skills. I still wish to encourage him to move to CO. We need outstanding bird vets here too!

We have been taking our birds to Dr. Kersting for nearly two years. He is absolutely wonderful, and his facility is very bright and clean. He does boarding and the area is light and bright with big windows. Absolutely recommend. A+

I took my bird to another local vet first, big mistake, she referred me to Dr. Kersting, found out he never had the illness he tested positive for! They treated him like a precious baby and were very good at explaining everything, even went into detail on the test results. I'd never go anywhere else again.

Dr. Kersting and his staff are one of the best resources in this area when it comes to all types of birds. He and his technician, Lisa, provided expert assistance when the Humane Society of Missouri performed a rescue of multiple large and small parrots that were in very poor condition. The birds recovered and were place into wonderful new homes. He is the only DVM that I will take my birds to.
