Click to report rating    7/29/13   5     4     5     5   Dr Underhill is a terrific vet. He is compassionate, spends considerable time explaining what is going on with his patients. He was extremely supportive in a very understated way when we had to euthanize our 18 year old "family member". RID: 45939
Click to report rating    7/29/13   5     4     5     5   Dr. Underhill was kind and informative. My dog needed and annual with vaccines and heartworm pills to take home. He did all of this and did not pressure me to do any unnecessary tests or vaccines. The amount he charged was at least $30 less than other vets I have gone to for the same services. He also gave me some free flea and tick prevention to try. The staff was very helpful and punctual. I will definitely go back again RID: 45935
Click to report rating    6/19/08   5     4     5     5   Craig has been the vet for KitKor Cattery, breeder of Maine****cats that are very well known on the cat show circuit as well as for Sukee Kennels. Their German Shepherd Dogs including imports from Germany, have been trained as Police K9's, Drug detection dogs, Crowd Control at the prison, Search & Rescue with the Maine Wardens Service as well as Maine's first cadaver dog to name a few. Many of these dogs sell for 5 figures or more. He can also read an X-ray as well as any OFA vet. But most importantly he has always given his home phone number so he's just a phone call away 24/7. RID: 8966
Click to report rating    5/1/08   1     3     4     3   I had my cat and dog fixed there under the Help!Fix ME program. He was fine with the cat during admittance, but seemed uneasy with my APBT (who was not at all aggressive but very excited). We received a call 2 hours after we dropped the animals off, my pit has separation anxiety and was howling. We picked him up and our cat as well. Both were all ready out of surgery. My dog was leaving blood stains in the snow when I brought him in and continued to bleed as well as whine for another 8 hours or so. We were informed this was normal. The incisions were sloppy and took a while to heal (I brought my other cat somewhere else and hers was a clean incision and healed in about a week and a half). I feel it was very wrong to send the animals home so soon after surgery. The doctor was also really grumpy and condescending. I would NOT recommend this vet to anyone. RID: 8338
