Dr Bailey was the only vet at the time to agree to do chemo on my dog and I wasn't even his patient! My vet at the time (FL Wild, Dr Holder) refused to do it. Several times, after hours, my dog crashed and Dr Bailey was available. He was incredible! My one thing I didn't like was he usually hesitated to tell me things as he knew I'd get upset as I had many pets w/cancer. I'd tell him to just tell me... But other than that, I love Dr Bailey!!!! Doesn't to livestock though.

Dr. Bailey is TOPS. I actually drive all the way from Altamonte to bring my dogs to him. He's the best diagnostician I've ever known - very caring and he *listens* to what the owner says. Not 'high tech' but he wil go the extra mile to diagnose something and to help. I've seen him bring MY dogs thru things like immune-mediated hemolytic anemia, cancer (incredible compassion), tricky surgeries, severe liver infections, etc. HIs staff is tops and he KEEPS his staff (he treats *them* well). Yet when we found Billy had IMHA, Dr. B referred me to the University of Florida and then worked and coordinated with several other vets to facilitate Billy's care. His ego doesn't get in the way of doing right by your animals. I probably drive by 200 other vets to go TO Dr. Bailey in Deland -- he IS that good!
