Click to report rating    11/7/15   5     5     5     5   Great Dr., clean facility!! Dr. Baeza takes care of my dogs and my ferrets. He has recently done a fracture repair on my dogs leg, and I couldn't be more happy with the results! Very knowledgable and he always takes the time to explain everything in detail to me! RID: 58897
Click to report rating    11/4/15   5     5     5     5   I bring my dog and my bird to Dr. Baeza. His care for them is top notch and he treats them with such compassion. His staff is always so helpful and knowledgeable. The office is always clean and smells so good every time I come there. I'll never go anywhere else...they are the best!! RID: 58873
Click to report rating    10/20/15   5     5     4     5   The doctor was great. Extremely knowledgable about parrots. He definitely cares about little animals; very kind and compassionate. Our little girl parrot is going to be fine. We will definitely be back with the whole flock next time someone needs a doctor. RID: 58742

Click to report rating    9/28/14   1     5     5     1   I took my long haired cat (found outside of my home, took her in because she was declawed) to have her shaved because she was badly matted; my fault never had a long haired cat, didn't know how bad the hair mats. Dr. Baeza looked at her teeth and said they were awful (estimated her age at about 10 Years) He made such a face I felt awful. They basically gave her a real close haircut that removed all the mats. Then they called me to get permission to remove some bad teeth. I stupidly said yes go ahead. Well they removed FOUR teeth all at once. when I went to pick her up I could tell she was in pain. They gave me an liquid antibiotic. She died three days later, I couldn't get her to eat. She was thin because of a thyroid problem, that I was treating with cream on her ear. Can you imagine having four teeth pulled all at once and not even taking any pain meds. Poor thing she suffered, I'll never go there again! I should have never let Dr. Baeza touch her. Do not go to this vet!!! RID: 53772

4/8/11   2     5     5     1   We took our bird here because she had a lump; he never could give us a straight answer as to what it was, even after having it removed. After the surgery she developed another lump and he told us that we'd have to keep coming back to have it drained. He also began to refuse to tell us anymore unless we paid him more money (we couldn't afford more and also what would be the point? He never gave a straight answer the times we did pay to "consult" with him). We had to hear it from the receptionist: Our bird had what he thought might be an inherited cyst condition, but that she was healthy and fine. A week after her last draining she died. As to the women who work there... All seem rather nice, with the exception of that girl who works the desk during the day. Simpleminded and sneaky (she outright lied about payment options, telling us they had none when they did, among other things) comes to mind. The vet himself seems overworked and frazzled, unable to keep up with the demands of his job RID: 24223

6/25/10   1     1     1     1   horrid!!!i took my chi for vomitting and he came out with a contused eye &the moron doctor tried to tell me it was the dogs fault that he or the staff poked or stressed his face so bad muuzzling him he got a huge contusion on his eye and it swelled 3-4 times the normal size.He said it was the dogs fault not theirs & gave him a antibiotic shot and said he should be fine.AFter he originally charged me 426.50 i didnt wait2see if he wanted to charge me for the shot. I stormed out.Unbelieveable.I will be taking my boy to another vet in the am as I beleive he may have cause damage to his nose also tying the guaze on it to tight so he could muzzle him.He is not an aggressive dog but they said he was so he needed to be muzzzled. He was squealing like a stuck pig cause they were doind a rectal so he was afraid he would bite him.Afraid of a 9pd dog.Dont bother taking your loved one here.He stressed&freaked my boy so bad hes peeing on the floor@ home now and cant see out eye at all. Im sick2death RID: 18533
Click to report rating    4/30/10   1     3     3     1   I took my guinea pig in to have a facial abcess looked at. The Dr told me I had two options, to completely remove it or to have it lanced and drained. i chose to just drain it since the post op care would be less stressful on him. A few hours later I was told the procedure went great. I came in to pick him and they literally handed him to me dead. They swore everything had gone fine and that he had died in the 2 minutes it takes to get from the holding area to the front desk. Not only did the Dr. perform the wrong procedure but they didn't even bother to dress the wounds before they let me see him. It was completely horrifying. The Dr. then offered to cremate him free of charge. Zero professionalism or compassion from the employees and I saw many people leave upset or pissed off. RID: 17758
Click to report rating    6/19/09   1     1     1     1   my daughter took her parakeets here to have their wings trimmed. well they cut the birds wing and it bleed all over the cage, they must have tried to clean it up cause i only seen spots of blood, but the little parakeet was clearing in pain, holding its wing by its side like it was sore, and you could see where they cut the poor bird.I could have done a better job myself without injuring my bird! Please DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO THIS VET. Click to report rating    5/12/08   1     4     2     2   My dog went in to have a ear procedure, and came out with kennel cough, bringing it to the doctors attentions and he doesn’t want to know, he just gives me pills and charges me $120.00, my other dog gets infected and the doctor wont even speak me, just wants to have his staff tell me it is $120.00 for meds, but wont talk to me, I have spent more than $400. in vet bills at another facility and Dr. Baeza won’t even talk to me, but if I make an appointment, where he can make money, then he will speak with me. He had no care or concern of the suffering of these dogs, he should be ashamed, find another doctor, the hospital that has been caring and humane to my dogs is VCA Neshaminy hospital, be warned of street road animal hospital, dont go!
