Dr McCord did not know that Adeqaun advises not to give its product to dogs with a history of liver or kidnety disease. Did not know that nsaids should not be given. Did not know of recent studies at UT VEt Hosp getting good results for certain supplements for Cushings disease. Did not offer to check. Did not know any physical therapy good for arthritis or cushings. Dangerous lack of knowledge. Uncaring, uninterested.

This is the greatest practice in Lexington. They treat both owners and pets with respect and care. They always exceed expectations. They are honest and clear when discussing treatment options. They are professional and caring. The facility is clean and calm.

This vet is amazing. They treat chinchillas and rabbits. We brought our dwarf chin in because he was having seizures, and the other vet (Pennyroyal) didn't do anything for it other than tell it they probably weren't real and he was probably just stressed. Gainesway ran the tests the other vet failed to do, and determined that he's got epilepsy. Epilepsy! Gainesway is THE vet to bring your chins and rabbits to. They treat your pets as though they are their own. They listen to you, they're professional, yet they go over the different options with you before they do anything. Their staff is friendly, their facilities are clean and cool (great for chins and rabbits), they are very punctual, and their cost is below average, at least for exotics. If I could give this 10 stars out of 5, I would.
