I was appalled by the lack of real caring we received when our 7 week old kitten was brought in. It had been stepped on, suffered a broken neck and had to be put down. The 'technician' was cold and unresponsive to our being distraught over the situation before us, and unfeeling towards my 6 year old granddaughter with us. The 'tech' was then hard and unrelenting as to our financial situation, as we could not afford the $400 xray and $107 disposition fee. For a sweet kitten that we raised with 4 others, bottle feeding for 5 weeks, only to have this tragedy happen, was traumatic, especially for the person who stepped on it (accidently of course). To have an unresponsive, unsympathetic employee at a "veterinary emergency clinic", where trauma is expected, was inexcusable. And, to add insult to injury, they do not accept payments for a $507 bill. So our only alternative is to wait for it to be referred to a collection agency and make payments to them. Buyer beware!!!
