Simply the BEST! Ben goes above and beyond the call of duty and always has. The best interest of the animal is always his first concern. He knows more about livestock than most dare to dream. Dr. Braat is truly a living legend. The valley (and beyond) have truly been blessed to have such an admirable man to handle our fury friends. GOD bless Ben, for all of his efforts, honesty, and integrity in creating and maintaining such an outstanding and honorable practice. Thank you, Ben. This valley wouldn't be the same without you!

HE has forgotten more than most Vets will ever know, He is not slightly more than other vets the person who said that should try shopping around. He can be slow to get cause he's so in demand but he always calls(price you pay to be that popular) A true Equine Specialist)

I think he is a knowledgable vet, but he is not used to informed dog owners and does not like to be questioned. I felt rushed and did not get thorough answers to any of my questions at any appointment. He is always in a hurry and on the the next client..frustrating! Staff is excellent-great customer service and great follow thru with clients!

The BEST, simply put. He has been so good to our horses, always going the extra mile time and time again, providing excellent care. He goes above and beyond to provide needed treatment expediently, and is happy to help. He truly loves what he does, and it shows in his work. I was certainly surprised to see someone use the words "brash" and "condescending" to describe him on rare occasion, because he has been nothing but thoughtful, patient and kind with us "humans", and has turned appointments into wonderful learning opportunities. We're better for every time Ben Braat comes to our barn. Whether dealing with "newbies" or the seasoned horseman, he is always a professional. Reccommended strongly!

Can be brash to clients when he's rushed for diagnosis. Always, though, great with the animals. Can be unintentionaly condescending to new owners who don't know much, but likes to educate if there's time. Worth the money, but don't get in his way, or put him in harm's way. Nice man, intense with medicine. never worked with his staff - he was a one may show when on calls. Was late a couple of times. Slightly more expense than others, but you get what you pay for. We've moved from the area and haven't used him for a few years, but would again if needed.
