Dr. Smith has been seeing my cats for over a year and I believe she is the best feline vet out there. The clinic is clean, well equipped and quiet. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. It's a tad pricier than some places, but then again, you get what you pay for: top of the line care. Cats come first at Houston Cat Hospital and my babies are worth it!

I took my cat there for the first time, for her vaccinations, a sanitizing clip and brushing. I was quoted a price and agreed. I dropped her off early in the morning and when I came to pick her up I was told the price was almost $100 MORE!! They said she had a bladder infection or "maybe the early stages of one" (SINCE SHE HAD NO SYMPTOMS). What made me FURIOUS is that they treated her alleged infection and filled 2 prescriptions ALL WITHOUT EVEN CONTACTING ME!! I had given them NO authorization to treat her for anything....it was simple shots, and grooming!! But here I was being told she was treated without my permission and being told I owed them well over $200!! To top that off they wouldn't take my check with a California license and said if I didn't pay they would not let me take my cat HOME!!! Amazingly I got my cat home and she still shows no symptoms of this "infection"!! I paid because I wanted my cat back but I regret I gave them a dime!

Excellent friendly and very helpful. Dr Smith is very kind and really cares. Her staff is very good her Vet tech: Jessie Is wonderful
