Used to be our best vet clinic.
Not anymore ....
In our case we brought the dog with just simple ear infection.
They proposed to do vaccination on the same time they prescribed ears medicine containing steroids.
As result, the dog got vomiting, following by constipation following by diarrhea, at the end we had to visit them .... for additional $430. When I asked about how come we had the dog healthy for 8 years and after visiting them for a minor ear infection we almost lost the dog? they say: no...it is not related.
Unfortunately after Dr. Hay and Dr. Bonjiorno left this clinic, the service level went down hill. They think only about their profit, not about your pet.
Stay away from them if your lovely pet is sick.
Go somewhere else or check what they prescribe to your pet.

I could only rate the staff; I had to give the the other points a neutral rating as I didn't even get that far, so can't really comment.
My experience started Aug 10. I wanted to make an appt for accupuncture for my cat, but (weridly) needed a referral. So I contacted my own vet who sent the referral to Tuxedo Vet the same day. I called TV August 12 to make the appt, but they couldn't find the referral docs and told me I'd have to get my vet to re-send them, which I did. Then called TV on Aug 15 to make the appt; again they couldn't find the docs and told me to call my vet. They said they would call me as soon as they received the docs so I could set up the appt. So, called my vet YET AGAIN to send the docs. Alas, no phone call from TV was forthcoming. Found out Aug 17 that they left a message at my husband's work number and their next avail appt was Oct 10, but I had to call them back before they could book it. (see continuation)

Very upset how they handled my ten year old rotti. Told vet that I was prepared to put her down if the cancer in her toe had spread.I was told that it had not spread.Five days after the toe removal our dog declined steadily. She would no longer walk, eat, drank water non stop and vomited.I returned her to the vet on the eighth day and this time it was confirmed she appeared to have malignancies on her lung and spleen.Initial X-ray as per doctor who seamed her first said malignancy on lung was missed because heart was in the way?Nothing was said as to how heart blocked the spleen view.We had her put down and it was devastating to our family.Just prior to being put down someone from the vet office tried to sell me single cremation ,urn and puppy prints.I was so upset,I couldn’t even talk.

We have been taking our dogs and cats to this clinic for many years. They see Dr. Watson but have seen the other vets over the years as well. Dr. Watson is amazing ranging from his breadth of knowledge to his approach with both our pets and us. The staff are wonderful as well - every one of them. I've read a few comments about concerns regarding their prices. Our pets are our family members and when receiving the high quality care that is provided at this clinic, price is not a factor. I honestly don't know how their prices compare to other clinics but that wouldn't matter to me because the quality of care is of greater importance. Part of choosing to have pets is knowing there are costs associated with having them. I'd strongly recommend this clinic.

The vets here are fantastic, so compassionate and skilled. I have taken a diabetic cat there and my old dog, and both animals are thriving because of Dr. Watson's brilliance. I have not found the bills to be too high; on the contrary, in fact. Very reasonable. Dr. Watson may be Finnish, though I'm not sure. Jonas *is* a Finnish name :)

We have been taking our dog to see Dr. Watson since we got him at eight weeks last August. Our dog is actually happy and excited each time we take him to the vet. The staff all know him by name and often greet him with a treat. Dr. Watson always spends more time examining our dog and answering our questions than one would expect, regardless of the nature of the visit. I have also found the fees to be lower than what friends of mine are charged at other clinics. I have recommended Dr. Watson to many of my friends with pets and each of them has been very satisfied with the result. The doctors and the staff at this clinic all genuinely care about animals, as can be seen from their support and fundraising for various causes that benefit animals.

Only pick this clinic if you have money to burn. I took my cat there because of an emergency situation and was shocked at the way the vet pushed expensive treatments. At one point the vet said "what is the most you can pay". This clinic cares more about up selling than about animals.

I have 2 dogs, both of which see Dr. Watson at Tuxedo clinic. He is so engaged and caring that I think my dogs may almost look forward to going! Prices are reasonable for everything including the top of the line dog foods they carry.

Can't say enough good things about Tuxedo Animal Hospital! They have a clean, modern facility, friendly staff and knowledgeable doctors. As directors of a dog rescue group, we are thrilled with the care our dogs receive and that Dr. Watson is always willing to offer advice when needed. Front desk staff (especially Christal) are always organized and make our record keeping a breeze! We've also found their fees to be in line with many of the other clinics in Winnipeg and you can be sure your pet is receiving the best care possible. We highly recommend Tuxedo Animal Hospital!

I live in the area and found this clinic to be very convenient. I probably have seen all the vet's there @ one point in time. All are great especially Dr. Pat Dorval & Dr. Stavros Iaccovides. Yes, their prices may be a bit higher than other clinic's but you get what you pay for. They do offer cheaper options when it comes to perscription drugs if you don't have pet insurance. The staff are all very helpful, compassionate and knowledgeable. Even my 2 English Bulldogs love going there...and with their issues have been there a lot! I strongly recommend this Veterinary Clinic.

I wish I could rate the staff higher than a 5. Everyone at Tuxedo has been so helpful and caring throughout the years. We spent a lot of time there with our sick little girl but we always felt as if she was getting the best possible care. Only complaint is that they are not open late or Sundays, but we will definitely be back there once we get another dog in the future.

We have been going to this clinic for over a year and have always been so happy with the service. Especially the front desk staff. Recently we had to put one of our dogs to sleep. Though the experience was sad and something no dog lover wants to do, the staff made the experience as positive as possible. There were so helpful and compassionate. We were able to pay and sign all the necessary documents days before the event so that we didn't have to think about anything else. As long as we live in the area this will be our clinic of choice.

Dr.Watson and the staff at the Tuxedo Animal Hospital saved my 2yr old cats life. When my cat suddenly became extremely ill Dr.Watson took the time with me to discuss his symptoms and saw me that day. Within 24 hours Dr.Watson had discovered the cause, and performed the life saving surgery my cat needed. It was horrible seeing my pet in such distress. Dr.Watson really helped put me at ease and took the time to explain everything he was doing to solve the problem and answered all my questions. My little guy was stressed out being away from environment, but all the staff were so good about his bad behavior. Dr.Watson made sure he came home as soon as he was stable to heal, with the right after care so he wasn't in any pain, which was so important to me. Words can not express how grateful I am that I found a vet with the instinct, knowledge, and skills to save my beloved pet. Dr. Watson genuinely cares about the animals he treats. Couldn't recommend him more highly!

Considerably more expensive than other clinics when comparing identical services. Not always available on short notice - not open on Sundays.
