Do not take your pet to this clinic! We took our 6 week old kitten who was unconscious in, they offered no preliminary diagnosis, they wanted to test for every possible disease, and hospitalize, this was $1500. When we said we could not afford something like that without having some idea of what was going on, the response was "there is nothing we can do that will not be over $1000" I told them I was going to another emergency clinic, the Doctor responded sarcastically "well I hope she lives until you get there" Testing for feline aids and worms and every other disease is NOT going to say why a cat suddenly went unconscious. We took our cat to another emergency clinic, in ten minutes they diagnosed head trauma and with the after hours exam fee, IV, medication and Sub Q fluids, it was only $178, our kitten is living and healthy now. I called to make a formal complaint, they say it is procedure to test for everything before even beginning to make diagnosis. TOTAL SHAM.

I took my lab here for a scrape on his paw that had gotten infected. The vet at I-20 suggested a surgery to remove one of his digits. Not only did I balk at the idea, but went to a different vet! A dose of antibiotics and the infection was gone. Sparing all toes! It is extremely expensive and is lacking in knowledge from it's staff. Be cautious of this place!

I'll never take another pet to this place after my mom's dog died while in their 'care'.

You can't please everyone - but I am amazed at the previous review that somehow linked a toe injury with a seizure a week later, and then blamed the vet for it! Give me a break. I-20 is not my "regular" vet, but if something happens in the evening or on a weekend this is where I always bring my pets even though I live in Fort Worth. Emergency care is always pricey but the care here is so worth it. I have brought many pets in over a 12 year period and never had a bad experience. Some of the incidents were fairly minor, but on at least 2 occasions they saved a life - one from bloat and another from pneumonia.

I am grateful for this facility. When my, now, 4 year old cat ingested thread, this place saved his life. Complaining about costs is ridiculous. Obviously treatment, like with human facilities, is not going to be free. And veterinarians are not gods; they are imperfect like this rest of us on Earth. I-20 is an excellent facility. And they certainly don't try and force you to spend more money! They are merely showing you treatment options and their costs. Money seems a trivial thing when a friends life is at stake.

Im going to leave an honest review. There is two Veterinarian Doctors at this clinic and the female Doctor is just a cold person but the male Doctor I would say is a very caring individual. We took our dog their for a minor injury that she inflicted upon her self and got her checked out and they said she would be fine a week later the same area that was hurt started acting up and then she had a seizure. Its interesting how they will be so fast to blame everything else besides the toe incident. Like the previous review if you want your animal to live do not take them here. Facility good, Doctors bad. The other staff there are nice except for the ones the Doctor send in to try and course you into giving them some more of your money. Its terrible they play with your feelings to try and get more money out of you. If there is a god they are going to need a lot of forgiveness.
