Click to report rating    5/30/15   1     2     1     1   I used to take my dog to see Dr. Smith. She was fantastic. I don't know what happened to the front desk staff ?? They had some great people and then they were gone. I decided to switch as the new staff was not as friendly and the woman who runs the office is not nice at all. RID: 57214
Click to report rating    8/21/13   1     3     2     1   This place has been absolutely terrible to us. I don't even know where to begin. We had to bring our cat called Moe in to get surgery for his urinary tract blockage, wherein they removed his genitals so he could urinate. We go in to see how he's doing and someone had written "Moe a.k.a Monique" on his name plate. They probably hadn't taken it down yet because they didn't expect us to come at that time. I realize it's just a stupid mistake that someone apparently thought was "funny", but how unprofessional is that? If they do foolish things like that when they know no one will find out, what else are they doing that they also get away with? And then they threaten to take Moe away from us just because he had fleas and he's allergic to fleas. We had NO idea before now that he was allergic. We've given him medicine for it and there hasn't been a problem since. I'm not saying they're all bad, but the service we've gotten at this place is NOT AT ALL worth the money we've paid. RID: 46433

Click to report rating    3/24/11   1     1     1     1   I took my dog here twice, and could not get out of there fast enough. The front desk staff is so rude. I should have known when I called to make the first appt (when I was new to the cape) and could tell by her voice she didn't want to give me the time of day. The veterinary was nice, but because you have to get thru the desk staff to get to the veterinarian, it's not worth the hassle. Go to VACC in South Yarmouth. So much better! RID: 23817
Click to report rating    3/14/11   5     5     5     5   We started going to Hyannis after our on vet went on a long weekend knowing we had a pregnant dog. Larry came to the hospital at 9 pm with his family to perform a c-section and save the litter. We have been loyal customers for over 10 years. Can't say enough good things. I have no idea what the first comment maker is talking about we have never experianced anything like that. RID: 23543
Click to report rating    11/18/10   1     2     1     2   I have gone to this Animal hospital several times with friends who are clients and I am constantly amazed at the rudeness of the front desk staff!! The Dr's. talk DOWN to the owners and have no sense of the emotional toll they take on those owners. Their callbacks are NOT timely and sometimes they have not called back at all. They have turned away their own clients if they " don't have room", in their schedule. I am very unhappy with such a well known clinic! RID: 20942
Click to report rating    6/13/08   5     5     5     5   As a pet owner and a foster for a rescue organization I have been pleased every time we've had to make an appointment here. Dr. Danielle Smith and Dr. Kevin Smith have both shown what vets are made of. They are caring, compassionate, and are both true lovers of animals. Most recently I fostered a dog who came to us with a broken leg. When Dr. Kevin Smith met her he realized what a great pet she is going to make someone one day, and offered to do all her work at cost! I am happy to report she healed beautifully and is as happy and healthy as an 8 month old puppy deserves to be! RID: 8868
