Dr. Stroebel was very disappointing in the way he cared for my older dog. I made the mistake of telling him that since the dog was older, I didn't want to put the dog through any surgery. He never really helped me with a diagnosis, just kept ordering tests over and over to the tune of over 1,000 dollars. When my dog became even more ill, I picked up my records and went to another credible vet in the area and was able to get a comprehensive diagnosis. I falsely placed my trust in a vet that deserved a much closer look on my part. Sadly, a devoted dog lover

Dr. Strobel is fabulous- he is so gentle and caring with our animals. He also saw my mom's cat on a sat without an appointment (when my mom's vet wouldn't!). He is very compassionate (so sad to tell us about cat's tumor). The staff are excellent and all very caring. He truly has the animal's best interests at heart. Dr. Elliott is also great. Can't say enough good things about this practice.

This operation is top notch. They truly care about the pets they treat and are true collaborators when it comes to healthcare decisions. I drive out from Pittsburgh to have them care for my dogs.

Superb, personal care for my animals for over a decade. The best technicians and support staff I've ever seen in a vet's office -- and very low staff turnover. The doctors involve us in our animals' medical care as collaborators, not as "stupid customers." They are now in a beautiful new purpose-built hospital. I wish they would offer weekend/overnight emergency coverage -- the emergency vets in this area are in nowhere near their league.
