I can’t begin to explain how bad the services at this place are. They quoted me a price that was a thousand dollars higher than its closest competitor. All in all a very very bad experience

I have been taking my dog there for 5 years and I love Dr Plaben (sp). Although I do have to agree with the other posts. One time my dog had a bad ear infection and I knew he couldn't go the 3 more days they said it would be before he could get in to see the vet. Like the other posts before me I stressed that he had to be seen sooner then that and I didn't care which doctor he saw. They did get me in the next day and the vet he saw agreed that 3 days would have been too long with the condition he was in. But on the other hand I was able to use their emergency clinic and called during off hours and spoken with a vet tech. Both times they were wonderful! The price is a little higher then most vets but overall I am happy with the service there.

Have used this hospital for specialist surgery and consults not available elsewhere. No choice. We are treated poorly every single time. Rude, ignorant support staff. High staff turnover? Ortho surgeon who may be "all that" in the OR, but does not listen and appears not to care. Begging an appointment with him is like requesting an audience with the freakin' Pope! Misdiagnosed my dog with a lethal, untreatable condition even as I was pointing out the many symptoms that were inconsistent with the diagnosis. She might have been helped by surgery at the time of the misdiagnosis. They have twice refused to see a critically ill dog (current patient) in a timely way; the delay the first time nearly killed her, while my primary vet and I *begged* them to see her a few days earlier than our appointment as she went downhill. No apologies. Aftercare/PT recommendations were nonexistent -- I researched it myself. Will go to Cleveland when we need an ortho surgeon again. Someone who listens!
