Dr Galbraith was the only doc around willing to see my "exotics". What he doesn't know about them, he is willing to find out.I have had a couple of emergencies and he was there. He even called later that night to check on my baby. That means a lot. Except for one, who is now gone, his staff his great! I especially want to rave about Joyce, our animals are not the norm and she is always checking and calling labs to make sure the right tests are being run. The wait is a bit long at times, but I would be willing to wait twice as long for a vet that cares about my critters. The prices are awesome! There is not a vet around with more reasonable prices.

Office area dirty, staff seems not to know much, almost always have to wait for an hour or more even when early for an appt. I think Dr. Galbraith is competent, but he is very unorganized and does not allow his staff to do anything without consulting him. He seems to charge different prices according to who the client is, but the prices are very reasonable. Could be you get what you pay for. Called him once for a farm call on my horse - he never came and never returned the call. Took a puppy to him with parvo at 8:30am, he was busy (of course) and asked to leave the pup - he did not even examine the pup until 3pm - the pup died 5 days later. First time we have ever had a parvo pup last that long and die. I feel his unorganized manner compromises his vet skills. His staff is often quite rude and I believe does not give him all of his messages...or he loses them!
