Marvin Altom (owner) is a disgrace to Veterinary Medicine! He is inept/incompetent and should not be allowed to touch a rodent! My German Shepherd was taken to him because she had lost the ability to walk. He took x-rays of her hind quarter and told me 'she has a touch of arthritis' - and then added "I thought I was gonna have to put her down." (for a touch of arthritis?!!).... with NO discussion/no consultation/no review of the x-rays. When we took our dog to another vet, we learned that the Marvin Altom had taken wrong x-rays for the problem the dog presented. They should have been full spine x-rays; he would have seen that the dog had ruptured disks in her upper spine. Altom simply took wrong x-ray, kept the dog overnight, called the next day 'you can pick up your dog.' There was NO input/discussion/consult about her condition. For this inaccurate diagnosis, he charged 730.00 In addition, Patrick, his receptionist was RUDE BEYOND THE PALE , yelling at me like a lunatic. Fine profess

I just want to add a note that if you find an animal you should turn it into animal control. More likely for the owners to look there rather then a vet office. And a vet office is a vet office, we should they be an adoption facility? Either way I think this vet office is wonderful! Have never had a bad visit, they do get very busy at times but it's worth the wait. Very good with animals and clients as well. Also a very sweet staff at note.

I personally had a dog put down and I thought this vet office was just wonderful. They took very good care of me and gave me all the consideration in the world. I have met all the vets they have there, each of my pets as seen each one of them at least once. They are very gentel with my animals, affordable, and make sure I understand what is being done. The staff is very sweet and caring with me and my animals. The practice is very clean and well taken care of. I know each vet has their own clients that end up having their problems with each vet, but from my personal oppinion, all three vets are awesome! I wouldn'y go anywhere else!

I had gone to this vet for many years with multiple dogs. When it came time to put my old Shar Pei down, I called and made an appointment. Stimpy hated all vets, so I did not want to make him go in and they agreed. But the vet who owns it, had taken care of Stimp for the last 10 years sent a new grad out to do this. I was crying like crazy, my friend was also and the young vet was also. I cannot believe he was so uncaring. I had already started taking my other dogs to another vet because my golden got a foxtail in his foot and I needed to get him in right away, his staff would not allow me to speak to any of the vets and said it was not an emergency and he could come in the next day at 4pm. I called very early in the morning the day before. I started randomly calling to see where I could get him in right away. Baring took him as soon as I could get him there.

I've been dissapoined in the care everytime I have interacted with them. Longterm clients were not treated well when having a dog euthenized. Would not take a client's dog in when found wanted to turn the dog over to animal control when they did not answer the phone

I have been going to this vet for years! Their service is very affordable, convenient, the staff if very sweet and understanding. And wow they have 3 doctors who are all incredible! I would never go anywhere else. And they even have a doctor on call in case of emergencies! I would highly recommend them!
