We brought our furbaby to West Vet, after over 2 hours we were told that the reason she was sick was her diabetes. They stated her blood sugar was too high to read even though she hadn't eaten in days. They sent her home after they gave her fluids and some nausea meds and told us to give her, her normal insulin shot when we got home. The next morning she was worse. WE took her to a different vet in the morning and they found a tumor within 20 minutes of having her there. Our poor baby was suffering through the night because of these people. We ended up having to put her to sleep. I have found several reviews online where West Vet just gave fluids to dogs they knew needed to be put down and that wouldn't make it saying it was something else. Or they wanted to keep them over night on fluids. These people don't care about the animals they are supposed to help. All They care about is money. Keep other furbabies from suffering

Front desk lady was friendly. Vet treated me like I was an idiot who didn't know a darn thing about my breed. She talked down to me like I was a stupid child. I have never even been treated so rudely by a human doctor! I was kept waiting for an inordinant amount of time when I was the only one there. I was there for 21/2 hours and spent 10 minutes with the vet. The prices are ridiculous...they know they have you over a barrel if its during off hours. They put my puppy on Clavamox and charged me 36$ for it when my pom had been put on it 2 weeks earlier by my regular vet and I was charged 11$ for it there!! $$25 more!! Crazy!! The sad thing is if your vet does not have emergency coverage you have no choice but to go to them...its just very sad that they soak you when your chips are down.
