Click to report rating    12/29/10   4     3     3     2   I had an 18 yr old diabetic cat truely on his last legs but I was despirate to get his insulin refilled so I had to do the annual glucose curve thing which is just a useless waste of money but I am used to that. What turned me off is that the vet insisted on some more additional bloodwork and a urine test despite the fact that I was very clear that I was not going to TREAT Anything they found on my poor old guy...but I was emotionally blackmailed into consenting to the testing which ended up not providing any useful information. Big surprize and another $300 trip for an annual exam. Sorry won't be back. RID: 21658
Click to report rating    9/2/07   5     5     4     4   I had to take my dog to the vet on a saturday and my vet was not open so I did a bunch of research online and decided to give A-Plus a try. I was very happy with the whole experience. Everyone was very caring about all of the animals there (it was vaccination day so there were a lot of them) including my dog. I have to take her back for surgery and will continue to go there even afterwards. As for monetary value I don't really know if I could have gone cheaper with another vet. And punctuality does not apply since I was a walk-in, but I did not have to wait too long. Thank you A-Plus staff. RID: 5799
Click to report rating    7/31/07   1     3     2     3   The A plus on Longley seems to have it together. The staff is efficient & caring. The a plus in sparks is rumming amuck. They don't know how to do simple things, like appointments. They overbooked are dog boarding that I made 3 months ahead of time on a holiday weekend & then since I was the last person in, said sorry no room. My huge hissy fit got a phone call, but I wasn't going to leave my animal if they were mad at me & take it out on my dog. Whatever you do, don't give them an address change that was a disaster for a simple task. RID: 5447
Click to report rating    12/30/06   2     2     1     2   I think the shot clinics are helpful. Punctuality is very bad on regular appts. In my opinion the owner is not very polite and in my experience with him, showed no appreciation for my time with five 9 week old puppies waiting in a waiting room. We heard him on the telephone for at least an hour. My puppies required only 15 minutes of his time; I think he could have and should have postponed the call. Some of the staff seem aloof and indifferent. I know that working in a busy office can be stressful, but that doesn't mean professional, friendly service should be sacrificed. Often the customer is stressed and upset coming to the vet and meeting caring and supportive front desk personnel is very imporant and makes a good impression. RID: 1650

Click to report rating    12/9/06   1     1     1     1   I was not happy with the care my pets got from this clinic,or the Reno a plus clinic. my pets were both exposed to staph in their clinic. I was told that they were tested and never saw a lab report for a test i paid for. They were then mis-treated for the prolbems that they had. I would not trust them with a slug much less my beloved pet. User of this clinic or the Reno A Plus clinic bewere! RID: 1188
Click to report rating    12/8/06   2     5     2     1   It's a pain to get ahold of your pets medical history. It has to be approved by an on duty vet before it will be released, and then you are charged. RID: 1184
