I feel they are professional and know what they are doing, however, when my cat had cancer, I thought the one vet I spoke with was very condescending. Perhaps it was just her manner or a language barrier (she was Asian, english not first language). But, she kind of made my grief and sadness worse by encouraging chemotherapy for an already traumatized 9 yr old cat. I guess I wasn't crazy about her style. As for the high cost, I think that is understandable.

The staff offers the emergency care but they overdiagnose and ask you to pay for the most expensive procedures. Our dog had a very common virus that could have been fixed by normal fluids and rest but they wanted to do surgery on a blockage that wasnt even there!!! If your dog has a wound and a broken leg, after normal vet hours go there. If not, call your vet and ask for there emergency help. Dont go here!

When your pet is sick or injured and it is after hours, you are scared, worried and panicked because you can't go to your normal vet but need to help your beloved animal. So you go to the Animal Emergency Center where you know no one, but you can't wait because your pet needs help now. So you walk into this facility that is new and they have all this state-of-the-art equipment and you have no choice but to trust them to take care of your pet at this vulnerable time. Instead they offer the MOST expensive and MOST invasive procedures and over-diagnose with the absolute WORST CASE senario and scare you and guilt you at thtis critical and vulnerable time. If you have NO WHERE else to turn and you HAVE to go to this vet. Please beware and ask for less invasive, less expensive options than what they first suggest. Or ask for a temporary fix that will get your pet by until you can go to you normal vet, that's what I did. They wanted to OPERATE and it turned out to be MUCH MUCH less major!
