I love the doctors and the staff. They are very caring and really make you feel comfortable. My dogs like going there, they usually pull me in the door because they know they get treats when they get inside. If your looking for a local, family owned place to take your family pet this is the place.

I would recommend this vet to anyone. The doctors and staff treated both my pet and me as though we were good friends. The clinic was clean and the environment was one in which my pet could feel relaxed. I will be taking my pets there for years to come!

Unlike the others before me I have yet to have a bad experience with Ypsilanti Animal Clinic. The prices are low and they veterinarians do thorough exams. They genuinely care about their patients and it shows! Go there yourself and give it a try!

In 2009 our cat was treated for feline diabetes. I called the front desk regarding dosage review before injecting our pet. I was told to give the dosage as ordered and I questioned it as well. Our cat ended up at a pet emergency hospital,lived (fortunately) and were left with a 700.00 bill caused by this employee. We saw the owner and he of course did not own up to it--was defensive and dishonest to cover liability. I would never take another animal there and have given negative feedback when anyone asks for a vet lead! TO BE AVOIDED!

This clinic has exceeded my expectations at every visit. I have had pets all my life and have visited several vets over the years. This one is the best for friendliness, care, and price.

The staff is very professional, thoughtfull and kind. The building is well maintained and has a very nice atmosphere. The Doctors go to great lengths to explain things in detail. They always respect the animal and client. The prices are very reasonable, which is a big plus.

We Absolutely DO NOT recommend this vet. The vet we were working with for our cats care was abrupt and rude on too many occasions. This particular vet showed absolutely no compassion when it came to caring for his patient, our cat and family member, in the last days of her life! On a scale of 1-10 we rate this vet as a -10.

I was a vet tech at another hospital and have taken my animals to Ypsi on occasion for vaccines and skin problems. The vet is nice and explains stuff well even to people who don't know animal medicine(like my mom). They handle problem animals professionally and their cost was below some others in the area. I have shopped their clinic for cost on other services in the past and they tend to come up lower than the average for quality services.

I found this clinic to be very pleasant. The doctor, and the rest of the staff were helpful and friendly. I actually work at another vet clinic, but take one of my animals here since he doesn't travel well, and this clinic is closer. Working in the field though, I wouldn't take any of my guys to a clinic I didn't trust to do a good job, and I believe the Ypsi Animal Clinic does a fine job.

I'm sorry to hear two other raters had such negative experiences. On the whole, mine have been positive, the staff attentive and the dr. spent a great deal of time with me helping to answer my questions and work through possible care options for my very sick dog. No bad smell as another rater mentioned. I have had to wait a few times, but not any longer than other medical facilities (pet, or human for that matter). I am staying with Ypsi Animal Hospital.
