Dr. Wazir has been very helpful to me and my dog over the years. Back in Jan 2016 we had an emergency whereby one of her anal sacs got infected and ruptured. It was a Friday night close to closing time and he did not turn me away. He immediately took her in for surgery and worked with me to come up with a price based on my budget. I was a university student at the time and he understood that my funds were limited. Since then, he has always been really helpful. My dog needs to have some teeth removed soon and I am bringing her to Dr. Wazir once again.

Happy with the service from front to back. Staff are friendly and affectionate and Dr. Wazir is very reasonable

Extremely abusive to my cat that I brought here. I've also heard horror stories of how they have neglected hurting animals and decided it was best to get rid of them, rather than work with them because they seem like a burden altogether. Wouldn't recommend.

Dr. Sarj Wazir was extraordinary in his care for my elderly mother-in-law's 16 year old poodle. Suzie (the dog) suffered a stroke while we were on vacation. It did not look good and we were sure we were going to have to put her down. Dr. Wazir consulted with us and suggested we could try two types of medication to see how she would respond. He was very considerate of how losing her dog would affect my mother-in-law at the same time as being realistic about the possible outcome. Suzie is completely back to normal for now a 17 year old dog and my mother-in-law did not loose her companion. Dr. Wazir was very considerate of our budget as she lives on a fixed income. Truly a very caring vet. Highly recommend him.

This place is bad! Don't bring your pet here! Dr wazir makes unnecessary recommendations! He found something new that was wrong with my dog every time I went! I even looked up some of the things he said and now have spoken to my new vet and can confirm this dr wazir lies! The bill was never as it should and there were always extra charges. The doctor here makes a fool out of people who love their pets. He is only out to make money.

They only have 1 vet now, and he started last year. He made this recommendation on getting the cat on continuous medication for claimed arthritis, within the first minute of the examination. Only because we asked lots of follow-up questions to know why he thinks that did he change his mind later and said "well, I guess he doesn't need it after all". We decided to switch clinics and they charge 40$ per cat to provide the new client with our cats medical history. I highly recommend you never go with this client. You will be very disappointed.

After viewing and visiting a huge transition in staff I have to say I am still very comfortable and pleased with the staff at PAH . I am very aware you can buy products of line but I prefer to purchase products for my pet that are guaranteed. The staff and Dr Wazir are so compassionate, and I will continue/recommend all pets and family's visit :)

Very unhappy with the way this clinic conducts business. There primary interest is in making money. My last visit there was in February 2016 and my dog had an ear infection. She was given 2 medication that cost 106.00 before tax. I found Pet pharmacy in Concord, Ontario that will sell me the medication prescribed for 40.00 before tax. This is a write up on the product of more than a 100 percent. I called the vet back and told him what I found he said that if I wanted to get the drugs elsewhere I would have to pay 20.00 for him to write the prescription. He did not want to do anything for me so I have decided to take my business to someone who has not lost focus on who the customer is and do the best for them. I should also add that while I was at the office he was trying to get me to buy pet insurance with a one month free trial period. Of course I am sure he would get a kick back if he was able to sell a policy.

The best vet clinic by far! Dr.Wazir is always available with or without the appointment, customer care is outstanding. Our 18 years old cat is still running around and cuddling with us just because Dr.Wazir has taken care of her when we thought she was going to leave us... Our 2 German Shepherds are happy, healthy and active dogs, and we know they will be taken care of at times of any health concerns as it was in the past. The knowledge and experience of Dr.Wasir are far beyond average vet.clinic professionals. We are very confident in making the right choice to be clients of Peel Animal Hospital.

I walked in and was pleasently greeted by the lady's at the front desk and although it seemed very busy the doctor was able to see me right away and take time to answer all of my questions. I feel very confident in my choice with this veterinary hospital and would highly recommend to anyone who ask

Brought my dog in for yearly shots and additional tests. I asked for an estimate of the total work and when i showed up they tried to charge me an extra $250 above what was quoted and then pressured me to spend more money on tests and products that were not necessary for the well-being of my dog. The vet couldn't even remember my dogs name, I do not trust them, they are clearly more sales oriented than looking after what is best for my dog.

I was pleasantly surprised when I came in for my dog's vaccine appointment, the girls informed me that the clinic is under new ownership and several prices have been reduced. The service is still top notch but at a better price. The staff is still the same friendly staff with a few new faces but all of them are very nice and helpful. Dr Claudia was great with my dog even though he is a little hyper and a bit nervous. I'll be back in spring for flea and heartworm for sure!

Recently had dental work on my dog to remove teeth and was called they discovered a few more teeth and the price was increased conciderably. I asked around and paid more than an other pet owner I spoke to. If your on a budget stay away from this clinic.

This is not my regular vet, but i took my dog here when my vet couldn't squeeze in time for an emergency. The reception staff were very friendly, as were the reception cats. The vet tech was very nice and explained things to me, and took time to answer all of my questions. The same goes for Dr. Claudia. they really ensured that i had a proper understanding before i left, and didn't rush me as i asked questions, nor did they make me feel stupid for asking the questions. The price for a consultation admittedly is a little steep, but they were having a 50% for new patients promotion, and frankly you do get what you pay for: they took time and didnt rush me; clean facilities; good equipment; my sick dog instantly liked the vet and i trust my dog's judgement of character! I am considering transferring my pets to them, but even if i don't, its good to know there is an excellent back up for emergencies

Great clinic. They now do boarding and grooming which is great as they used to do it years ago. The vets are great but the nice thing is the vet assistants (techs?) are really involved in the appointment and always say how cute my dog is :)

I dont see where all the complaints are coming from. I have been going to Peel for 2 1/2 years and found them great. Yes theyre an upscale type of clinic but you get what you pay for. My 2 dogs and 1 cat deserve the best and Dr. Masato and Dr. Sonia are amazing. They care, which is the most important, and they have saved my pets several times so they know their stuff. And the team is awesome.

I've had very positive experiences with the Clinic Director, Dr. Yamada, as he seems to possess a genuine concern and love for animals and their well-being. His care and treatment of my dog demonstrates this compassion very clearly. I'm sorry to say that my experiences with the other DVM, Dr. Mendonca, hasn't been very positive. She seems more concerned with the business side of the clinic and for the money side of things. When we see her, it sometimes feels as if our concerns with our dog are glossed over or not addressed, and we just get bombarded with medication and treatments that "may" work. I don't feel that this is the best care that can be offered, while it may benefit the clinic, it's not benefiting me or the reason I'm there to see you, my dog. I am dismayed by this and wish that I had more faith in this clinic as a whole, but can't trust that my dog is getting the best care possible from them.

prices are insane. $80 for 15 minute check. Can't tell you anything unless you spend hundreds for this test and that test. Why can't they just diagnose based on their experience...they must see hundreds of the same cases. I can't believe they are so expensive. I used to take pets to other local vets in the 80's and 90's and never had this kind of sticker shock. Unreal.

Went here a few months ago for a second opinion. Ongoing skin condition. Male vet took lots of time to go through the possible causes of the issue (in my dog's case, underlying allergies) and discussed the reasons why just pumping my dog full of steroids is not the only option. At first glance I thought the vet looked really young, but after the appointment, it was clear I shouldn't have made this prejudgment. They seem very efficient in their appointments which I appreciate when I take the time to book a specific appointment time. I will be going back for sure.

We were disappointed with the level of service received at this vet. The vet techs made us feel like we were stupid because another vet tech had given us improper directions on medications for our dog. I did not feel comfortable with the actual veterinarian's experience or advice to treat by 'trial & error', rather than determining the actual cause of the illness. It was a rather costly 3-4 appointments and I was very happy to switch to another vet who was able to address our dog's issue in 1 visit and minimal medication.

Appointments are on time and the staff is always friendly. Good info given and questions are answered well. I did feel a bit rushed (maybe that's why the appts are on time) and at one point the vet did try to sell me shots for my pet that I really didn't need. She seemed more interested in making a sale. Overall good.
