was happy with this vet until 3 years ago when we began taking our 1 year old rescue cat to them. when we got him we were told he had a respetory infection, which is common at miranda's. for 3 years the vet was treating him for respetory problems and not looking at anything else, even though things were not getting better. they never did any xrays or felt the rest of his body. meanwhile a tumor was forming in his abdomin and a cancer was spreading and the treatment they gave us was masking the problem. we took him to a new vet a few months ago and they found the problem right away and did surgery, although they could not save him because it had spread to all his other organs. he informed arcata about this and they would not admit that they made a mistake in not looking at the rest of his body. i am not saying they are a bad office but we will never again go there. also when we were trying to get records it took the new vet 4 phone calls to get the records!
