If you’re looking for a vet who treats your pet’s health like a mild inconvenience, Dr. Adam Ryan is your guy!
We brought our dog in with a rash and noticeable hair loss—basically the dermatological equivalent of a neon sign flashing “something’s wrong!” Dr. Ryan gave it the ol’ one-second glance, shrugged like we just asked him to explain quantum physics, and declared: “There’s nothing we can do.”
No treatment plan. No suggestions. Not even a sympathetic pat for the dog—or us.
It was like going to a restaurant, pointing at a fire in the kitchen, and the chef goes, “Eh, it happens.”
If your pet ever needs real medical attention—or you’d like your concerns treated as more than background noise—I’d suggest looking elsewhere. Maybe even WebMD for dogs would be more helpful.
One star for the waiting room chairs. They were the most attentive part of the visit.

After 4 years of using this vet we were abruptly asked to leave because of a very, very nasty vet trying to muzzle our dog behind closed doors for a shot and our dog obviously then becoming anxious and scared. That was followed by the vet, Lapos, berating my wife and telling her how nasty our dog is and that no one will care for her because she's so terrible and we needed to find another vet and good luck because no one will want to work with her. Wow. That behavior was then backed up by Dr. Ryan when he refused to discuss his vets interaction with me. When I called again, the receptionist told me we are horrible clients and no one wants to speak to us and to basically kick rocks. Now, our pet that is on prescription medicine and food is going to have to start over with another vet for absolutely no reason other than Lapos decided to act like an absolute horse doctor that particular day. STAY FAR AWAY!

My husband and I are the proud owners of 4 beagles. We enjoy hunting with them and entering them in field trials. One of our beagles had entropion which is where the eyelid turns inward and is a constant irritation to the eye. We took him to a vet and we were told to let it go that over correcting the lid could cause more harm. The problem with that is it affected Jack's hunting and field trials and knew it was causing him pain. We found on this website the reviews, which were few, but good. I gave them a call and scheduled Jack for an office visit. We were impressed with the facility. Very busy, like a Geisinger Medical Center for pets. The staff and doctors were courteous, though behind in appointments due to emergencies, they took time and explained the procedure. They even did an exam on our female beagle who we thought to be pregnant but was not because of their exam. Jack had his surgery 3/29/10 and is doing well. We were extremely happy with the result and the price!

The doctors that own the practice are very nice, it is a very busy place but also a little pricey...

This is a caring staff of dedicated professionals. If at any time they can not find the cause of illness they have no problem refering me to another specialized vet or having me seek a second opinion. Dr Berg and Dr Campbell are an awsome team. During an emergency they could have turned me away due to the hour of day and type of emergency , however they operated on my dog late into the evening rather than sending me to a costly ER vet. Thanks to them my all of my dogs that have had surgery there are doing well and living life to the fullest!
