every vet is expensive now, that's why you should take that into consideration when you get a pet. I like that bartons hgts has up to date equipment and can do lazar surgery where others in the area cannot. if you just want booster shots then you can use any vet I suppose, but for me, my dog is getting old and I want knowledgeable caring veterinarians and staff that will help me extend his life as long as possible. I want to know as well, if my dog has a problem night or day there is someone I can call and get immediate help. I would not consider changing.

I have been a client with my dog for the past 6 months. They are extremely expensive, rude and order tests that are unenecessary. The girls at the front desk/answer phone are rude, lazy and confrontational. I am completely unhappy with each and every interaction I have had with them. I will be switching Vets ASAP.

This clnic prays on your love and human decenty. Since they are one of few in the area that have later hours you have no other options if your pet has been wounded. Staff is incesitive not animal or people friendly. Yes their office freshly painted and looks cleaner then other facilities, but that is because they charge you an enormous amount of money. I have found that Smithfeild animal hospital and Scotrun if afterhours is required. The staff and vets are caring and provide much better care for a quarter of the cost.

Over priced. That's all there is to it. What's important to them is the money not the animals. Please try East Stroudsburg animal hospital instead, great staff, great care, and they charge an appropriate price. Barton heights is a flat out rip off.

while this place is clean, i'll give them that it's a complete rip off otherwise! made an appt for our dog, whose right side of his face and eye was swollen shut out of the blue overnight. he had no prior signs of anything wrong with him the night before. we get there, the dr. barely opens our dogs mouth and says it's an abscess and they need to anesthetize him and do xrays and "explore" his teeth, cost=$1,300, needless to say we left. made an appt for later in the day at Blakeslee vet and as soon as the dr. walked in the room he said "something bit him", examined him and concluded it's a spider bite! $70 total for an office visit, steroid shot and take home meds, that's a huge difference from the $1,300 that Barton Heights quoted and wrong diagnosis to boot! please don't go to this place, go anywhere but Barton Heights!

This location is only concerned about getting your money... what else can I say. go somewhere else whre you get the care you deserve. This facility is cut and dry. Don't let the environment fool you. They misdiagnosed 3 things with my dog!!!

I've found that you get what you pay for and wouldn't go anywhere else. Although they're on the higher end price wise, the service is unbeatable!
