Click to report rating    11/18/09   5     5     3     3   At first I liked the staff I had taken my dogs in for shots etc. Then my one dog became very ill.Two different vets. Each had a a big ego. One in paticular charged me $ 55 for an ultra sound as if he was doing us a favor. Well.. Turned out after I got a third opinion from a different vet that, it was not a complete ultrasound & he had misdiganosed my dog. Also.. When I told them that I did Not have thousands of $$$$$ to spend they basically told me to keep her comfortable & any & all care stopped. I would not reccomend them . And.. That vet with a HUGE ego needs to be called out. He misdiagnosed my dog & obviously is an unhappy person. :( RID: 15388
Click to report rating    4/12/08   3     5     4     5   my dog was misdiagnosed by a "fill in" vet. days later as i watched him get sicker and sicker (with kennel cough) then eventually pass it on to my other dog - i called to complain and see if i could be compensated in any way and have the dogs treated. i was told that that doctor was not scheduled for the next couple of months but that i could speak with the owner (dr baum) on monday (this was on friday) and see how he wanted to rectify the situation. things go so bad that i had to seek care over the weekend by another vet. monday morning i explain to dr baum what happened and he said that he couldnt speak the other doctor but to make another appt for both the dogs and start over. i then let him know that i'd gone elsewhere over the weekend... immediately i was cut off mid sentence with a "okay bye bye" and was hung up on. no apology. no compensation. nothing! other than that - should dr williams move to a different hospital, i'd follow her :) RID: 8022
Click to report rating    8/20/07   5     5     5     5   This is the best veterinary clinic in Los Angeles! The staff is competent, helpful, and very polite. Barry Baum is a miracle worker and always does whatever he can for the animals. The vets can treat practically every animal under the sun--I see some of the oddest little creatures in the waiting room and have had my cats, lovebirds, guinea pigs, and rabbits all treated there with wonderful results. Center-Sinai is also fairly priced and has a beautiful facility. RID: 5683
Click to report rating    11/17/06   3     1     1     1   Horrible facility. Regularly keeps pet owners waiting in excess of 1 hour for appointments. The vets are RUDE, especially Barry Baum. Horrible treatment here - they prescribe Rimadyl without warning that it can kill your animal and don't give the written drug materials that contain warnings about this drug, which they are required to do.
