I have been going to Banfield in Laurel for the past 3 yrs and can't say enough great things! Dr. Smith and the staff truly care and love pets!! The hospital is state of the art, meticulously clean/well maintained and the staff is well trained,caring and professional. They are even open on Sundays and seven days a week! I read the last review and I have to strongly disagree!! I've been taking my dog to Dr. Smith for several years now, even before she opened the Laurel hospital and I know for a fact that she often goes above and beyond for pets, working late and through lunches often to make sure that every pet gets the care that they need. I know some people give Banfield a bad rap, but this one is way above the rest!

The actual staff was awesome but the Doctor was very rude and late. I waited almost 2 hours to be seen for vaccines only. This is NOT the only time this has happened. The staff came in about three times to let me know that Dr.Smith was running behind but she was never even there. I saw her show up about 30-45min lates. This is not right. Its like why am i be penalized because she cant come back from lunch on time. If they changed the doctor I would be more inclined to come back to this facility but as for now im transfering to Arundel Mills until something changes at Laurel.
