great vet, Anne mcewan is the best! our last vet, valley vet suck and they just push pills and steroids on your pet. they have royally messed my boy up and now anne is helping get him back in order with her holistic approach, she takes time to email and call me to check in.

Staff is very personable and my dogs love them. They are very patient with the shy or frightened dogs. I found the facilities top notch, vety clean and comfortable. The vets were there when they said they would be and I was able to make appointments with a lot of choice in times and date. I found the cost of the proceedures to be very close to what I exoected them to be and reasonable depending on what was done. The staff was very helpful, friendly and cheerful. All of our dogs go here...wouldn't go anywhere else. We breed English Springers and trust our dogs to this clinic. If there is something the vet doesn't know about the Springers, she will tell us and then investigate to find the answers for us. Best clinic we've ever been to...highly recommended.

First of all I will answer the dim wit whose saying dr McEwen is no longer there. She is still there she was away for a while with good reason and you don't know what you are talking about. To the other moron whose taken his dog to the pill pusher on Townline Valley Vet this is THE WORST PLACE EVER. The ex vet Helen Douglas cost me $25,000.00 out of my own pocket that I had to repay in order not to bankrupt my company. After working with her trying to establish a business to help dogs with hydrotherapy I ended up spending all the money and her flashing lots of smoke I had to repay the loan I incurred because of her out of my pocket. Way to go Valley Veterinary hospital needless to say I never went back there again. Dr McEwen is an holistic vet and treats with remedies instead of PILL like the other pill pushers at Valley Vet

We have taken multiple cats there over the years and absolutely love Carleton Place Vet! They always see us right away and always give us the friendliest service. They give top quality care to our pets. My family and I just think that Carleton Place Vet is fantastic.

Never again. Despite the relatively high costs, the treatments we received were inconsistent and, in some cases ineffective. A failure to diagnosis a serious condition lead to an expensive but useless prescription. My request for feedback was ignored. I went to this clinic because of the reputation of Dr McEwen. She is no longer there. Those who recommended this clinic will not return. I won’t be going back.

Ann is the best vet of all time. She is very caring. More concerned about the welfare of the animal than the costs.

This is the worst animal care facility I have ever been too! One saturday afternoon, I had called for emergency care and when I had explained the situation, we were told to just let our dog die. We then took our dog to another vet and she did end up dying but at least they put the effort into trying to save her and not just tell us to let her die!!! We are now long standing clients of the new vet and love our new vet (valley vet in Carleton Place...best place ever!). I would never and could never in good conscience recommend this facility to anyone.

Dr McEwan - excellent vet. Takes the time to thoroughly examine your pet for main and secondary causes of potential issues. More conservative in treatment then other vets (doesn't push pills/surgery if diet / exercise/alternative solutions possible). Offers holistic treatment as well as conventional. Sometimes end up waiting but I know that's because if a case needs more time than expected, she spends it and doesn't rush you out the door just to maintain a schedule. Follows up personally on serious situations - amazing dedication to her patients and she seems to remember them all! Office staff are great with the animals (and treat us people just as well!).

Very good clinic though I have my reservation for one person on the staff other than that very good vet especially Ann McEwan. Will treat with holistic or if available in store instead of always giving your pet pills. Will definetly recommend my dog loves this vet big time and I love the bill at the end. Very good with your pets
