Dr. Kristine Covert is absolutely wonderful. She is smart and kind. She is so caring and compassionate. The entire staff were absolutely the best.I would highly recommend Pikesville Animal Hospital.

Dr. Covert is terrific. Kind and very patient. She was a blessing when I had to put down my seventeen year old cat. She called afterwards and offered me a kitten from a rescue litter.She now takes care of my two new fur babies from that litter. We love her and she has a wicked sense of humor as well as being a top notch vet. Ruth

Love this place. All of the doctors are nice, but I particularly like Dr. Zumpano. He is very patient, listens well, and is very knowledgable. I trust his opinion.Everyone there is friendly and welcoming and I never wait for long. Not the closest place to me, but it's worth the drive for my two dogs.

Pikesville Animal Hospital is amazing. The Doctors are very kind and compassionate. The vets and staff always go above and beyond in my opinion and the customer service is top notch! I can't imagine why anyone would have a negative opinion of this vet, I guess you can't please everyone. I have been coming to this location for several years and seen each of the different veterinarians. I would recommend this hospital to anyone looking for excellent care for their pet.

If you value your cat's life, do not trust Pikesville Animal Hospital. They only care about your money and not your pet, especially cats. The vets at Pikesville Animal Hospital misdiagnosed my cat's cancer for over a year, and then it was too late to treat her. Carey Zumpano should lose his license as he is the one in charged. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR PET OR YOU WILL BE SORRY LIKE ME.

I will never go back...What can I say it was the worst experience my dog has gone through. I was treated like I was stupid and my dog wasn't happy. Do yourself a favor don't go.

Was not impressed with Dr. Zumpano as a vet at all. His my way or the highway approach is not desirable and I do not care for his bedside manner. He also is a terrible listener. He'll tell you what he wants you to hear, not listen to what you have to say, then takes your money scoots you out and on to the next patient. I have no idea why anyone would use him.

We started seeing Dr. Zumpano when our cat developed a cystitis of indeterminate cause. Dr. Zumpano listens well, is full of current information and very happy to impart it thoughfully. The staff is outstanding in their attentiveness, cheerfulness and concern and interest. We are very happy to have found Pikesville Animal Hospital.

Dr. Zumpano did an outstanding job on entropion eye surgery for my cat - a very difficult procedure that a previous vet did with limited success. Now she is so happy to have clear vision and her eyes are beautiful. I've taken her and my toy poodle to Dr. Z. for a year, and am so happy to have found him; if you want the best vet, look no further.

We come all the way from Catonsville to to get our 2 dogs and 2 cats the best care we've ever gotten from any vet. Our last vet couldn't figure out how to give our dog a rabies vaccination (because our dog is somewhat fear aggressive when it comes to visiting the vet). Dr. Z. allowed us to visit regularly with our dog, Charlie, so that our Charlie could get used to going to his office and feel more comfortable when shot time arose. He and his staff exhibited the utmost patience, showering Charlie with positive attention and treats with every visit. It worked! After 27 years of being pet parents, we would not take our dogs or cats anywhere else!

dr. zumpano has been taking care of my 2 cats and 2 dogs. we lost our dog peeve yesterday. the compassion and gentleness both he and his staff showed were at the least comforting. they really love their patients and it shows, and i thank them very much.

Dr Zumpano and his staff are an absolute pleasure. My dog has received the highest quality of care and attentiveness from Dr. Z. It's rare to find a vet that is truly as committed and conscientious as Dr Z. Only the best for my pooch, and I have found that in Pikesville Animal Hospital.

I found Dr Zumpano because of the excellant groomer Dori. However, Dr. Zumpano turned a simple anal gland cleaning into a surgical nightmare. My dog is incontinent and is now under the care of a board certified surgeon. My dog may need to be euthanized because of his over zealous surgical technique. Having a pleasing personality and bedside manner doesn't mean quality care. He destroyed the muscle tone and did irreputable damage to the anal nerves. My dog had a small anal gland abcess and was otherwise very healthy until Dr. Zumpano worked on him.Dr. Zumpano assured me that the claeaning of the anal glands and the right antibiotic would cure the problem. His anal area looked as though it had been through a meat grinder. I'm praying that the nerves and muscle tone will come back, in the meantime ,I'm battling infection and my dog is in diapers!

Can't recommend Pikesville Animal Hospital enough: very smart, kind vet and lovely staff. I have a complicated case--a recently adopted Bichon that was supposed to be in good health but wasn't. Dr. Zumpano has been thorough and reasonable in his approach to her care. Thanks to him, she now has a chance at a happy life. Also, the facility is clean and inviting--none of those off-putting smells that I've so often encountered in animal hospitals. I feel so relieved to have found such a great doc for our new family member!

Wow, what a rare experience. The employees here are so kind and accommodating. As soon as you walk in, you know you're in good hands. Dr. Zumpano is exceptional! I wouldn't trust my pet's health to anyone else.

Fantastic, polite, caring, intelligent staff! Dr. Zumpano is very kind and you can tell he really cares about pets and their people. After searching for a good vet in the Baltimore area for a while, I found Pikesville Animal Hospital and I'm so glad I did. I highly recommend this vet and his wonderful staff to everyone I know!

I just can't say enough good things about this animal hospital. Today was my first ever visit and I am sure glad to have read these online reviews. Dr. Zumpano and his staff are exceptional! Very compassionate, professional and personable. Although a new hospital, Dr. Z isn't new to the community. I highly recommend everyone who can to take their pets there. You will NOT be disappointed!
