Dr. Bacon and the entire staff at Cedar Lane are awesome! I have two dogs that have had major issues for the past 2 years. Dr. Bacon has gone above and beyond in caring for them as if they were his own dogs. What Vet will call you himself to check on how the dogs are doing? Dr. Bacon and his staff will! I could never imagine going anywhere else with our dogs. Thank you everyone at Cedar Lane!!

Always compassionate. They'll take the time necessary to figure out what's wrong. They explain everything in detail. Highly reccommend.

Staff is friendly and caring, but the Vets are not. The Vets here appear to have little genuine concern for animals. Vets try to recommend unnecessary tests. The worst experience I had was they took my pet in the back room and ran tests I did not give permission for. Further more they took urine without giving a mild sedative and my pet was traumatized for two weeks.

James Bacon, DVM, has been practicing for over 35 years and has cared for all of our dogs in almost as many years. The most compassionate, thorough, competent vet and human being you will ever meet. He is 45 miles from our home in PA, but the trip is worth it. Recently, our little Westie was very ill, and Dr. Bacon felt he required extensive tests and radiological procedures which few Veterninary Hospitals in both NJ and PA have. He told us to immediately take our little guy to the University of PA Vetinary Hospital in Philadelphia. Bumsky was seen in ER and was admitted and transferred to the Internal Medicine Dept. the next day. He was diagnosed, treated and is healthy. Dr. Bacon is the most honest and thorough vet around. Also, his colleague, Kenneth Quin, DVM, is a fabulous diagnostitian. He diagnosed our first Westie with leptosporosis, an uncommonly seen disease. Two of the best vets we've used, and we've tried several in PA, NJ, FL where we've lived. Thank you Drs. Jim and Ken.
