Worst vet clinic in the city. I am a long term customer who travels 45 minutes just to go there. I drove down to get a refill on the prescription THEY had prescribed to me the last time I was there for my cats. Because they did not keep adequate records of medication THEY prescribed and the weekend vet was in instead of my regular vet, they REFUSED to refill the medication. We wasted 45 min getting there...30mins arguing with them and an hour driving home in traffic. Ridiculous... taking my business elsewhere.

She's a knowledgable vet. Clinic hours could be better, but other than that, no complaints.

Dr. Rapoport appears nice at first few visits but that is just a front to sucker new clients in. Over time she always shows her true colors where treating pets is routine business - no show of caring or concern over an injured or sick pet. She also comes across as rude, condescending, dismissive because of her huge ego. She also does not respond well to anyone asking her legitimate questions about any treatment options or tests needed. Also be aware NEVER to let her take your pet away from your sight to give a vaccine, injection or to draw blood. She has done this to several pets we know who shortly after developed unusual conditions and mysterious illnesses. At first believed this to be a coincidence but after learning of several such cases from folks we spoke to something did not add up with the Bowhill Animal Clinic treatments and care. Stay away from this place if you love your pets!!

You get what you pay for and the prices and lack of modern technology are reflective of that. Terrible experience, pet lovers beware!

Dr. Rappaport and her staff are amazing. They take such great care of our dog and the grooming is wonderful. Our dog had his teeth cleaned and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Old and small but staff and Dr. Rapoport is very friendly and welcoming. Also it didn't smell like the typical stinky vet clinic! I was very pleased and impressed because vet clinics typically are stinky. And to my surprise it actually smelt nice. The cleanliness and smell is actually what made me want to post a review. So if ur looking for a vet clinic that doesn't stink(literally) bowhill is what your looking for.

This vet's facilities are unsanitary and unclean, our indoor cats caught ear mites from there. Would never use again, paid Bowhill for treatment then another vet for ear mite treatment too. One of the receptionist is also very rude.

Small clinic. Looks a bit old, but I like it. Dr. Rappaport was very friendly and knowledgeable about my breed. After shopping around, I found the price reasonable and the vet didn't try to "up-sell" me on fancy bells and whistles -- she informed me of what I needed for my dog. One of the receptionists there was very friendly and courteous. I took my puppy in for neutering and was delightfully surprised to find that they had trimmed his claws without me having to ask. They also removed my dog's 2 remaining milk teeth, which I did ask for, free of charge. My puppy stayed there overnight (unsupervised) and was fine. They even called to follow-up on his surgery. Two other friends referred me to that vet because they liked it, too. Only one sour spot is that they have once receptionist who isn't very friendly and didn't seem as knowledgeable as the other receptionist. She even swore in front of me (but not AT me) when she made a mistake on my bill after I pointed the mistake out to her.
