Charge for services that were not talked about. Money hungry place. They rhink because they are on Yonge street they can add hidden charges and services not approved by me. Will take my business elsewhere from now on. Front desk and vet Dr's are disrespectful and rude.

Incredibly greedy clinic. They won't tell you at all what they are charging you for until you go to pay and are completely shocked by the price. Even when I asked to speak to the vet and owner of the clinic, he was so rude and dismissive of my concerns. Especially when you only come in for 1 thing and they end up doing plenty of other services without your knowledge, consent, or even a flat out discussion of what it is, why, and the fees associated with it. Will never go back. Incredibly disappointed by the services and how rude the vet was.

I'm new to the neighbourhood and brought in my 2 cats for routine checks and vaccinations. First impressions were awful. They told me to let both cats out at the same time and they actually lost one of my cats for more than 30 minutes. The exam room has no doors so my cat just wondered off. Also I was referred to Dr. Belovitch but was given Dr. Crozier. And finally I was given ridiculous advice about dental management of my exotic shorthair cat. Overall not impressed and paid top dollar.

GREEDY MONEY HUNGRY PIGS! I brought in my constipated cat, not knowing what the problem was at the time. They did every tests/xray/exam they could and kept her overnight. The total was over $1200. I was told they would only do what was needed to figure out the problem, and continue with other things if needed, they ended up doing everything they could possibly charge for. I was told they would accept a payment plan before picking her up the next day. When I went in to pick her up they had no recollection of discussing a payment plan and told me that I had to pay the full amount to get my cat back, and that if I didn't pay it would be an additional $200+ per night until I pay. A friend paid over the phone with their credit card since I had a limit on my account. They didn't treat/help her in any way. I was told to buy a human laxative from shoppers and give her half. I did some research (not EVER supposed to give human laxative to cats) and gave her Vaseline instead which worked great

I found this clinic to be a cash-grab. They were always trying to sell me something and they would guilt me into paying for services that I didn't feel were necessary. There is a charge for everything at this clinic. I found this clinic to be too expensive so I left them and I found another vet clinic who doesn't charge "an arm & a leg".

Both Vets are exceptional. My cats are treated with respect and compassion. Is it cheap NO you get what you pay for-personal attention and lots of care! Dr. Corzier is a doll and always takes special care in my "people" Dr. Belovitch is very amazing in every way. These vets care. Their staff is always helpful when I call. I have been going here since moving to the area almost 10 years and will continue to do so.

You get what you pay for! I have used the Yonge Street Animal Hospital for over 20 years and had the lead vet, Michael Belovich, since he bought the clinic. An awesome vet, super compassionate, very knowledgeable. It's not the cheapest clinic but I never had any doubt that the care is top-notch and that they know their stuff. Over the years, he's cared for over 12 family cats and 2 dogs without complaint. I have tried other vets on occasion but always return to the Yonge Street Animal Hospital. I recommend Dr. Belovich over the female associate vet.

Just your average clinic. I find the female vet on staff to lack people/pet skills - very unfriendly and unsympathetic. The technicians however are super helpful.

I went to this hospital when my regular vet was too busy to fit me in. As soon as I walked in i was greeted and treated so nicely. My dog, Smuckers, was treated like a dog god. The vet took the time and explained lots of my questions and at the end of my appointment asked me if i had further questions and made me feel like i was important. Knowledgeable staff and although a little pricey I think thats every vet clinic.

I brought in my puppy, and to every question I asked the doctor was trying to sell me a different product and was loading me with medical terminology instead of really explaining anything. The receptioninst was fairly unfriendly and even rude. We had to wait over 30 minutes even though we made an appointment ahead of time. They charged me for a test ahead of time not even menioning that when I was leaving. The doctor all the time looked busy and to my opinion did not provide a good enough service for $200 I paid. His assistant was nice and knowledgeable though. But I would NOT recomment that hospital.

We were looking for a vet in Toronto for our two dogs. On one occasion when we were getting our puppy a routine vaccine, they ran out of vaccines and we waited in the room for 1/2 an hour while they tried to track down a vaccine. On another occasion our puppy had an ear infection and the cost of a quick check up and medicine was well over $200. This was after we refused to pay a fee to have his anal glands emptied ($45) when the vet offered after taking his temperature, we thought she was just doing a routine check, not realizing it was a nearly $50 fee. Our friends dog needed the same medication for an ear infection and it was literally half the price, as was the check up, their total came to $95. Yonge Street Animal hospital is very over priced.

Everyone here has been so nice to me and my pets. One of the doctors even gave me his personal cell number incase my dog took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. They actually seem to care about your animals.
