They care for both my cats and dogs, and both staff and vets handle even the most fractious ones well. They are willing to work within my budget, suggesting effective care that isn't hard on my wallet. The vets consult with one another if a case puzzles them, and they aren't afraid to refer to a specialist if they feel my pets will receive better care with them. The place smells clean, and the staff is out promptly with a mop if a dog has an accident in the waiting room. Dr. Fitz will stay overnight if a pet is in bad shape and needs 24 hour care, and she seems to take the care and the comfort of the pets personally. Dr. Haight and Dr. May are just as good at what they do, but Dr. Fitz owns the clinic and sets the general tone.

Best clinic i think in all of Austin an i should know i worked alot of them.Dr.Fitz is very caring an they dont overcharge or make u get vac's u dont need. All pets get great care, but cats seem to get the most attention here. If u want a great vet that cares an dont overchrge this is the place! 01/2009

Very friendly and have never suggested any treatments or medications that were not absolutely needed. They are extremely easy on the wallet (only $29 per general office visit as of October 2006) and offer a free checkup for dogs and cats adopted from various animal shelters (I adopted from Town Lake Animal Shelter).
