We brought my daughters Labrador “Bear”here to diagnose his constant and violent itching. Ahmed entered the room and spent a few minutes asking us questions about when and where the itching might have started. He put a stethoscope on Bears chest and briefly looked in his ear.
I rolled Bear over so he could look at the thinning hair but Ahmed only glanced at him and stated “it’s allergies“.
He gave us a list of plants and trees dogs can be allergic to and told us to research (google) the problem. He Quickly left the room saying he would get us information and was absent for a long while. awhen he returned he had no extra information and did not look at the dog again. He once again left the room saying he would get us more information but did not return. The assistant came in a few minutes later and started reading off prices for the doctor’s recommendations.
$100 for ear flushing
$595 for a shot ( not sure what it was for)
$295 for blood work
$95, $50, $50, $195- for other proce

This is a very good Dr. and he treats his staff as if they were his kids.

Three years after my dog had surgery here, we found out that is was done improperly. I've asked the vet for a refund for his services and he immediately turned it over to his insurance company. He seemed like he really cared about our dog, but I really think he didn't, just thinking about the money he could make. His building smells when you walk in the door and he spends very little time with the owners. His staff is unfriendly and you always have to wait a very long time even if you have an appointment. I have just compared his prices and services to our new vet and he is VERY high in comparison. I also have pet insurance and they pay about one third of what he charges. Just make sure you check him out before leaving your animal in his care.
