On the whole great place. The drawback is they like to suggest surgery over less evasive procedures. In both cases, I declined the surgery. In the first case, a suggested blockage - an enema worked and in the second suspected bladder stone -some antibiotics got our cat through the crisis until it passed.

I have taken my dogs to the Ostrander Vet clinic for years, very helpful and knowledgeable staff, and vets that really love and care about my dogs. I would never consider anyone else to looks about my dogs. Keep up the super work.

The entire staff is fantastic! They have treated my numerous fur babies as if they were their own for about 12 years now. I trust them implicitly. A short time ago my dog was booked for an expensive, hopefully life-saving surgery, forms signed. We dropped him off, but they tested him right before surgery and found the disease had progressed to far. They could have performed the expensive surgery & sent him home for many future, expensive, futile visit, but they did the right thing for my dog and us. If they were in it for the money instead of the animals they sure could have/would have soaked us for much more, easily. I will never go anywhere else! A special shout out to Dr. Julie Boutin!

Unfortunately, both my dogs have required surgery over the past 8 years. Thankfully, I was able to take them to Ostrander. The price was reasonable - I think there is always a sticker shock when surgery and the associated care is required. I moved from a London clinic for a better price but mostly for Ostrander's experience with large breeds. They explain things well and my pets leave happy and return happy (they're excited when we pull into the parking lot!). Staff gets a bit lower of a rating due to a bit of a 'reactionary' approach (just don't be afraid to ask questions, or for a second opinion if you're not comfortable (they're ok with that)). I have seen more than one vet and vet tech and have figured out who works best with my pesonality and my dogs. In fact, my dogs each see different vets, because that is what is best for them. Like anyone, in any profession, the vets have different skill sets.

Beautiful facilities, most staff are pleasant and knowledgeable, clinic is breeder friendly and able to do most health testing & reproductive work. Prices have been increasing steadily over the past few years, and recent changes to medication dispensing is not very convenient, but overall it's a good clinic.

As a breeder I took the time to price around for basic surgeries (neuter, spay, declaw) and Ostrander was always one of the 2 lowest priced and after using them for years now I've always been impressed with their care and service. I highly recommend them.

Staff is always friendly and they enjoy working with the clients and pets. They treat your pets like their own and will go the extra distance to help your pet. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of work, you couldn't get this type of care for the same price in the city!

Brand new building - same old equipment. Paid top dollar for an xray taken on an old tired xray machine, my dog's xray had to be repeated due to errors. Some wonderful staff members, others I am not a fan of (attitude).

This is the best veterinary clinic within a 100 mile radius. The staff is very good and the veterinarians are excellent. Their after-hours service is outstanding. This clinic has the trust of any and everyone who uses them. Their fees are the best in the area. Having tried numerous clinics within a fifty mile radius of London and area, this clinic rated above any other in almost every area. This clinic should rate in the highest level.
