Click to report rating    11/11/13   3     5     5     4   When seeking help for my aging black lab, I felt demeaned, my dog was treated like an animal and her humiliation was apparent. The advice given was to put her on a diet...she died a few weeks later. I would never return or recommend this vet unless an absolute emergency. RID: 48189
Click to report rating    11/4/13   5     5     5     5   We have been using Dr. Debbie and her team for 15 years. They cared for both our cats and walked with us through losing one at the age of 13. They currently help us care for our second, who is 14 and has Feline CRF. Thanks to them his quality of life is fantastic. Dr. Debbie is no-nonsense but professional and knows her stuff. I literally trust her with the lives of my precious pets. The vet techs who assist her are outstanding. I really appreciate that we have this service available to our remaining kitty. RID: 48049
Click to report rating    9/6/13   5     4     4     5   Dr. Sewell is knowledgeable and doesn't hesitate to ask for assistance of the Vet College in PEI for difficult cases. We've had injuries, cancers, easy and difficult chronic diseases with cats and dogs. She is terrific with animals, getting down to the floor to play, and often gives discounts for SPCA rescues. She is experienced, a bit blunt but friendly - perhaps off-putting to some stressed people. Probably her own assistants give better assistance, and family members can do the best thing by letting her do her job for the truly sick pet. RID: 46769

Click to report rating    7/20/12   1     3     3     1   This was my first visit and I left feeling angry and cheated. The egzamination of my cat lasted LESS then 3 minutes and I was charged over $100 for nothing! My concerns and questions were not answered. I would not recommend Dd. Debbie Sewell to anyone! RID: 35763
Click to report rating    10/17/11   4     4     5     4   I've been going to Dr.Sewell for almost 3 years now, her staff are very friendly and helpful, offer lots of advise, and if they don't have an answer, will get one and call us back. I find Dr. Sewell can come across cold sometimes, but her focus is always on the health of my dog, and that is what is important. I would suggest her to anyone who is looking for a vet that truly cares about your pets welfare. RID: 28363
Click to report rating    7/6/11   2     3     3     2   Brought my cat in for an after-hours emergency. The vet was obviously displeased at having to be there -- very unfriendly. She also refused to allow me to hold my sick and docile cat as she poked him, instead getting one of her assistants to do so and asking me to step away. RID: 26032
Click to report rating    9/6/08   5     5     5     5   I've had 2 dogs and 1 cat. They've all had Dr. Debbie Sewell. She's very good with the animals and also the animals owners. The staff, when you come in, are animal oriented, which as far as I am concerned they should be. My dog, which is a shepherd x pulls at her leash to go see her. I have a special leash used when she goes to the vet, and she knows, or seems to know, that when I bring this out, good things are going to happen. The day she cowers away when I take it out, is the day that I will question, she will tell me. The place is clean, the off hours clinic is clean as well. They are as punctual as any office is. There are emergencies that must be dealt with and that is understandable. Price is equal to others, or less. I may be given a price, but then when paying I'm told that she was either lighter or better mannered. As long as the vet and the animal are happy, so is the owner. Look after the animals, they'll look after the owners and they'll return. Sam RID: 9919
